It's a must have in my home for extra clean smell
It's my second one because I couldn't take the other one with me when I moved. I wouldn't even think about buying another model. I saw this one up close, in action at a friend's house prior to buying my first one. He was a heavy smoker and needless to say his house reeked to the extreme. His housekeeper demanded that he buy an air purifier. This is the one they bought. On my subsequent visits, I was absolutely shocked and amazed at how this little box worked so efficiently. The difference in air quality was astonishing. Years later when I decided to purchase an air purifier for my home, I immediately searched the web looking for this little wooden box without knowing the brand name. And I found it. And it worked like a charm. I love the fresh smell of my house when I walk in. You need to keep it up high, and preferably within 10 feet of an air-conditioning heat/cooling intake. I bought a tall steal rack with casters so I can easily move it, roll it around from room to room. It especially comes in handy in the kitchen I cook a lot of seafood and steak. I keep it on the top shelf so it's up high as it recommends in the manual.

This has changed my life!
The item arrived quickly, which was very welcome as I was getting over bronchitis at the time and dealing with very poor air quality in my apartment. I read the instructions, inserted the ceramic plate and plugged it in on my kitchen counter for an hour, before moving it to my bedroom (really, though, there was no need to move it since my apartment is fairly small and I just need to keep the doors open). My entire apartment smelled amazing within 3 hours and I slept better that night than I have in years! Needless to say, it also helped speed up my healing process at that point. Now, we have entered allergy season in the Pacific Northwest. Still amazed! I run it most of the time, occasionally turning it off during the day when I am at work. My apartment now constantly smells great and I sleep well EVERY NIGHT. Because I get a rest from all the air pollutants at night and am not breathing in all that pollen and junk, I find I barely need any allergy medication at all. A few sneezes here and there, but no itchy watery eyes, no runny nose, no sneezing fits that leave me breathless, no extra fatigue from my body working so hard to combat all the pollen...I'm really enjoying spring this year without feeling like I have to hide away from the pollen. Now, my body gets a true rest with clean air each night, rather than breathing in all the pollen and particulates 24/7 with no respite. I love this machine! My quality of life has improved dramatically and I am overjoyed by it. I have an older dog with a few health problems and this machine has helped with those odors as well. I rarely use the ozone feature, which is on a separate dial, because it is very powerful. When I do switch it on, I find myself turning it off again after about 15 minutes. It has been really effective using both ionizer and ozone features when pointed at the open cupboard beneath my kitchen sink to deal with mildew smell caused by a slow leak I had a while ago. Note: I don't generally write glowing reviews about stuff. This little gizmo is awesome! No expensive filters. Pleasant looking. Not overly heavy, easy to move around. Amazingly effective.

Eliminated to odor of an unfortunate rat under the house.
An unfortunate rat died below my guest bedroom under the house. I believe it was a feral cat who eliminated the poor creature as I do not keep poisons. At any rate, there he was. I could see him, but I could not reach him (back problems), though I tried. And I tried. And I considered cutting a hole in the floor just to remove him from under the house because the smell was so awful. But, I remembered I had this delightful machine I use once in a while for the aroma of dog, which some uncultured guests find oppressive. I used the machine in the room most effected by the decomposition of the rat below the house (45min, then tapering off in steps for 15 min). This vanquished the smell completely for a day and a half. I used it again after someone was able to remove the rat. The smell was completely gone in 30 minutes. I will sing this device's praises all day and night. The value is great. Material quality is not actual wood. It feels like a particle board with a veneer, but the particle board is not what is taking the stench out, so... yeah. Just don't go into it expecting wood. I's not. But, it looks great and, more importantly, does what is claims to do. Jury is still out on durability. I am concerned about the particle board as I live in a high humidity area. I already scratched the veneer by bumping the device into the side of a shelf on which I am storing it. If you have a stink (or recurring stinks), get this. I had a different one with higher ratings before this and it shorted out after 3 weeks (4 uses at 30 min). The one featured here is fantastic. Amazing. The smell of dead rat (memory eternal, little guy) is NOTHING for this device to conquer in 30-45 min. You'll be glad you bought this.

Questionable longevity
Years ago - I used a similar device ( Don’t recall brand name) and it lasted10 years & worked well in a musty basement rec room. Although this new unit worked well - while at a different house & cleaner environment - it only lasted about 3 years. I replaced the plate and it still failed. Lights on front panel flashing and fan fails to fully spin. I contacted their customer service and emailed them a brief video and all they said was if new plate does not correct it - it’s defective. DUH?? I was hoping for some troubleshooting assistance - maybe identify a replacement part or new circuit board. NOTHING…. Want to get another machine - but prob need to look at a different brand instead.

DO NOT BUY! WILL Put BLACK SOOT on Walls!!
I purchased this Late December 2022. Product seem to work fine at first. Made house smell good and clean. But then......in March, 3 months later I discovered that it was emitting a Black soot. It did significant damage before I realized it. You could not smell it. It didnt smell bad. I am NOT a dirty person. All my walls was washed in November for the holidays, we do not smoke nor do we have any wood burninf stove of any sort. No fireplace! So all this Black you see is from This Air purifier . Apparently it has black carbon it uses to clean or purify. Whatever the case may be. This caused Black soot to be all over in several rooms. This soot was nearly impossible to get off walls and decorations etc. So disappointed. I reached out to the company and they wouldn't respond to me. I made 2 attempts. I spent 8 hours washing and scrubbing walls, to no avail. It was like trying to get cement off a wall. I will have to have several rooms repainted. Do NOT BUY!! If I could give it negative stars I would. And FYI, I never leave reviews. I just wanted everyone to beware so you don't have thousands to shell out from Damages it will cause! Buyer beware!!

Odors be gone.
I absolutely love this ozone generator. I’ve recently purchased a remodel that has quite a few odd smells. One from the attic one from the basement waste pump utility room. And one from the upper bathroom vent that draws smell from old insulation in my roof. All taken care of with one or today runtime. I also opened several boxes that had been in storage and was not pleased with the odor from the cardboard once I filled my closet. All of that was taken care of with the generator. The smell is fresh and last four weeks. Oh did I mention the original reason for purchasing this generator was to clear out Cigar smell from my office. Done.

Outstanding Product "when" used correctly
Outstanding Product! I can not say that enough. I have a 2000 ft² ranch, with a little better than half the living space being in one half the house for the living room, kitchen, dining and family room. This was an ideal location to place this device on a butcher block island tucked off to the side of the kitchen in the dining area. It has direct access to all primary areas of the house other than the bedrooms which are down the hallway. I opened the product and followed the instructions to set it up, turned it on low for ozone and then one step underneath the halfway for the fan. The first 24 hours you could every now and again catch that hint of fresh clean air that comes after a thunderstorm that people associate with these types of devices. 48 hours later you barely even notice the sent unless you're walking directly by the device. However the improvements to the air quality in the house have been dramatic. Everyone is feeling much better, a lot less sneezing including from our dog. We have a high-end HVAC unit that has the medical grade filtration system and UVC light system that runs 24/7 365; yet we didn't see the same level of improvement after that system was installed as we did with this little tabletop device. I am exceptionally pleased with the results of the product. My only note of caution is that like most other things in life too much is not good for you, so do not try to turn it on high and then turn it down to get results. Start low, and then if you need to increase it only do so one step at a time with the ozone and wait 48 hours before making the next change if needed. *Never sit or stand directly in front of the device for any length of time*

Give it a week, SMELL the difference!!
I wanted to give this about a week before reviewing, & have done so... I can't believe the difference in the odor in my house! With 2 smokers, puffing away all evening long after dinner, the next morning it smelled worse than any bar... But NOW... In the morning the air is fresh & clean smelling, no lingering cigarette smell, & cooking odors are gone too as an added bonus!! This little unit is ACTUALLY freshening the air in the entire house minus 1 bedroom that the doors stay closed on.... I have to say, I AM impressed! I figured if it worked only on the one room the smokers are in, it would be an improvement, but to have it actually take care of other rooms as well is just amazing! I have pets too, and while I have never had strong pet odors, every once in a while, it would smell a little from them too, but that is gone as well. So highly recommended... Especially for cigarette smell, which it is doing a bang up job on! I leave it on low ozone during the day, & at bed time turn it to medium, & odors are gone by next morning when I again turn it back to low. In the morning, the only thing I smell is fresh air with a slight chlorine smell, but that dissipates within 5 min of turning it down. If you need a solution for cigarette odor, this is one thing you should try... I will recover the cost of the unit within 4 months by not having to buy room deodorizer which was not near as effective!
