This tool has a margin of error that needs to be stated in the instructions. It also would be better with a clamp to steady it. I had a furniture project for my granddaughter to complete. The chests Were old mid century pieces with no knobs to open or close etc Amazon had Cool MCM handles, and legs. I was really afraid of the hardware, so I found this tool- there were no instructions which with tools- who knows- I didnt mess up but once out of 7 handles and that was minor, thanks to this tool!

Unless you can use it on a sturdy work bench, holes will probably not be as accurate. Make sure you got your project planned before you assemble whatever it is you want to assemble.
