    • Kumho Tires made Van with nearly 200,000 miles Ride Like New
Kumho tires -- I had never heard of them before June 2017. I decided to look for tires on the web because the size I need is becoming less common and the selection from local tire stores was limited. I looked at many tire sites, including Tirerack, for information. This tire was recommended by the site itself and many reviewers so I decided to "go for it." The tires arrived 3 days early (June 30); balanced and mounted on July 3 by my local repair facility. My '97 Villager now has 194,700 miles on it. This includes close to 3,000 miles on new tires, about 1,400 traveling to East Coast and back from Michigan recently. Van rides smoothly; old tires (Goodyear Integra) were hard as "rocks" and made it feel like suspension was bad. Rides like new now. Traction in rain good; stopping ability good. No experience with snow yet. They also provide a very quiet ride, very important. I saw this brand on a newer Hyundai car recently so I believe they came standard on it. In conclusion, reasonably priced tires, very pleased with them. I would highly recommend them. ... show more

    • Great tire for the price!
They work great and look nice on my 99 Sonoma (almost identical to the Chevy S10). My pickup is old but it in excellent shape for how old it is. I had some light truck tires on before these and the ride was somewhat rough. After slapping these on the truck is riding much smoother and I have better grip stopping. They’ve been on a week so I cannot comment on mileage or snow driving. It has rained heavily and they performed well. Probably not as good for large hauls or towing if you’re putting these on a small truck but for light loads they’re fine. Excellent value for the price if they last awhile but they feel solid so far. ... show more
