The bike is good solid construction and easy assembly. Just 2 minor complaints: 1. The stickers to monogram the bike come with just 1 upper case and 1 lower case of each letter. Go ahead and spend a few extra pennies to send at least more lower case letters - I was unable to spell the entire intended name. 2. Kids like having a kickstand; this one didn’t come with a kickstand, but it should. ... show more

We recently bought the 14 inch bike for my 5 year old son because he had grown too tall for his 12 inch bike. That extra 2 inches in the wheels made all the difference in his riding ability. He was riding without training wheels on his 12 inch bike (started at 4 years old) but it 'hurt his legs' to try to keep up with big brother. Now he is fast and can stay with his brother on his 14 inch bike. I wish we could have bought his a 16 inch bike because 14 inches is a very uncommon wheel size for bikes, but with him being shorter (22 inch inseam on his jeans) and that he rides without training wheels, the 16 inch bikes were way TOO big even with the seat all the way down. Great bike, very sturdy and easy to put together, even for non-handy people. :) ... show more

This bike looks good from afar and is far from good. Out of the box the wheels are not straight and bearings are super bad. I will take the bike, make adjustments and reassess. Not a bike for novice bike owners
