Likes: packaged well, easy assembly, good quality and looks good. Dislikes: needs better directions, they send one direction that suppose to fit all. So you have to make judgement calls for baby seat, reflectors and had to adjust the spokes.

The overall quality of the JOYSTAR Little Daisy Kids bike and the components is good. I feel like it is well worth the money. The instructions regarding the actual chassis assembly are straightforward and easy to follow but do not include attaching any of the accessories which would seemingly be simple, but without instruction my wife and teenage son had difficulty discerning which hardware was for each component. All things considered they did a fantastic job! We gifted the bike to our young daughter for her birthday and although she had previously become proficient at peddling a bike she seemed to be struggling while trying to take her first ride. After seeing her struggling, I turned the bike over to check everything and found the crank incredibly difficult to turn and binding in certain places that required extra force to rotate through. I had to release the locking nut and decompress the crank bearings in order to get the crank assembly to start rotating properly. Once the crank assembly binding was corrected I proceeded by test peddling the bike again and found that it was still difficult. I removed the rear tire and found that it wouldn't rotate freely either and required excessive input to rotate. Suspecting the braking mechanism I loosened the adjustment and securing hardware and saw improvement but there was still an issue. The rear axle bearings ended up being over compressed as well. I was able to uncompress and adjust them to get the rear axle rotating freely as well. After checking and making the adjustments my daughter is able to easily pedal and ride the bike that she was so excited to receive! In summation, the component's are good for the price but improper assembly and poor quality assurance forced me to disassemble and make adjustments on items that should be ready to use. ... show more

I should know better than to order off brand stuff like this when I need it in a pinch... I originally ordered another bike but it was damaged in transit and returned to the facility. I took a chance on this one since it had fast shipping but now here I am, night before my daughter's birthday, and I have a bike missing pieces with parts that do not work. The bike itself is sturdy but all the accessories are garbage. The plastic of the little car seat, basket and splash guard thingies are so flimsy, they will never last. The hand brake doesnt work at all, none of the hardware was included to attach the garbage accessories and the piece the reflector attaches to is also missing. So, moral of the story, I deeply regret choosing this bike. Do not waste your time. ... show more

This bike is EXACTLY what my daughter wanted for her birthday. Now if we'd get some warm weather , poor kid sits on it every day multiple times (it's in our living room) and sees how many "babies" she can get on it with the seat and the basket she just turned 7 and is all about her babies and loves to ride her bike. Did I mention it's perfect ???????? The box was rough , but the bike was fine inside (very minor damage to the basket which I'm trying to get replaced so it's perfect for the maiden voyage. ... show more

    • Great bike, but not easy to put together

We let our 3-year-old pick out the bike he wanted out of several on Amazon, this is what he chose. The directions were terrible, I had to find YouTube videos for several of the parts because the directions made it difficult, when it didn't need to be difficult- just give us accurate directions for the bike we purchased, not a bike we didn't purchase!! The seat portion had a small plastic part on the end that made absolutely no sense- and the training wheels had parts missing. Overall my son loves the bike, but had he not seen it, I would have immediately returned it. As of now, the seat is so loose it keeps turning and there is no way to tighten it. If you are handy and know how to put stuff together, go to the hardware store for spare parts, and can figure stuff out without step-by-step directions, then this bike is for you. If you are like us and rely on directions and for all of the parts to be included with the bike, save your frustration and DO NOT buy this. ... show more
