First off... not easy assembly...and very time consuming... instructions so-so... HOWEVER end product nice. Use a battery powered drill/screw driver not the "tool" provided... this will save a tremendous amount of time...and your wrist and elbow. Make sure to screw latch screws flush to unit and loosen white plastic seating nuts if they won't easily go in pre-drilled holes. Really should be multi-person assembly... some steps require it. After unit is self standing...one person can complete. Many screws and fasteners... this is what takes so long. I saw video on Amazon complaining about drawers not working correctly...I am certain it is the quality of assembly. ALL screws on drawer rails MUST be properly seated and flush... otherwise they interfere with sliding in and out correctly. I had same issue but then turned screw tighter and now works smoothly. The key is to not rush, be methodical and don't shortcut. Overall finished product is nice... only worry is what to do when vanity lights stop working. Did find replacements on Amazon but not from Joysource. Would do again... but set aside several hours.

A decent makeup desk, but could use some improvement in making the base more sturdy. Have in mind that the desk comes in a lot of small parts that you need to assemble and that could easily take about 3-4 hours or more, not really easy for people that are not handy in assembling furniture. Having somebody to help you assemble it, especially for the upper part as it is bulky and heavy would be useful. Assembly instructions could be made better, especially for people that do not assemble furniture every day. The LED lights are not that powerful, they are not replaceable and have in mind that they do come with a USB power plug, so additional power adapter would be needed (not included in package) to make them work. You need to glue them to the mirror surface with the help of the provided double-sided tape stickers.

I love the vanity it is exactly as pictured but I do warn it is difficult to assemble the instructions are not very detailed at all I mean you can figure it out but it took me 4 hours to do it alone with a toddler.. just alot, alot of peices.

My bf is the best handy man but had a hard time with the instructions. Once it was put together I was really happy with the results. Probably buy different lights tho. Overall I really like how it looks and where I can put my things.
