The BSK-40 is ideal for home practice, live streaming, street performances, rehearsals, and small indoor performances. When using it outdoors, place the amplifier on a speaker stand and point it toward the audience for better sound projection. Check guitar & MASTER volumes, center EQ, reduce effects. Test cable and guitar with another amp. For active pickups, replace battery and raise onboard volume. Pickup output levels vary widely. Check guitar is in GUITAR input, not AUX/OTG/output. Use known-good cable and test another guitar. Increase guitar channel & MASTER volumes. For active acoustic-electric, replace pickup battery. Set BASS/MID/TREBLE near center, reduce CHORUS/DELAY/REVERB. Adjust EQ gradually while playing. Too much bass/effects sounds unnatural. Tone also depends on pickup, preamp, strings, and position. It is designed primarily as a portable acoustic guitar, vocal, busking, and small-performance amplifier. It may not provide enough projection to compete with drums, loud electric guitar amplifiers, or a large outdoor crowd. For those situations, use the DI output to connect the BSK-40 to a larger PA system. No 48V phantom power on BSK-40. Use dynamic microphones. Condenser mics need own power or external phantom supply. The BSK-40 does not provide a supported footswitch connection. The built-in effects, drum patterns, recording functions, and channel settings are controlled directly from the amplifier’s control panel. Connect guitar & mic before power-on. Set channel volumes low, EQ center, effects off. Power on, raise MASTER gradually, adjust each channel. Add reverb/chorus/delay only after clean signal is confirmed.
