My grandson loves this advent calendar Inside each door is a different little eraser/puzzle. If your kids are into small things this is a cute advent calendar. My grandson who is six years old loves to see what he will get next. He is sharing some of them with his friends. I recommend this item.

The erasers are cute but my kids were disappointed with how many duplicates there were. They said it wasn't exciting. The erasers break easily, also. It started off good but we are on day 19 and I think there are not as interested.

My son loves erasers and he had fun with this calendar every day. However, one day was empty, one day had two packs, and half the days were duplicates. That could be because two animals came in a package in each space instead of one, but it was a little disappointing. Fortunately, my son didn’t care and saved them for friends. If you have a child who might be upset by this, open it up to check first and add or replace with other erasers. The erasers were still cute and my son liked his calendar. It’s also not very expensive compared to other advent calendars.

We were excited to open this for our small daughter as this was her first advent calendar. We wanted something that was not Lego or Disney and thought this would be a good option. I would strongly advise you consider buying this only if your children are at least five years old. The box says three years old but the pieces can be very small and break easily (they are erasers after all). Very easy for the pieces to get scattered around as she plays with them. With pets and even smaller children in the household it’s more of a liability than the fun it provides.

I got this to share for 2 kids bc the reviews said there were two erasers in each. When I got it, it said "24" on the package, but it was too late. So I held my breath as my kids opened it and LO AND BEHOLD there were two! The magic of Christmas right there, people! I will say, we have only opened the first one but it had two erasers that were different. Now if your kids are gonna need the SAME eraser, you probably want to buy two of something else. But this really is shareable.

Edit 12/12: Now that we're on day 12, I'm lowering my rating because more than 1 Rudolph has had broken antlers (I see that another reviewer had the same issue), the pieces barely fit together, the edges are rough and messy, and we've had 2 or 3 days of repeats now. So yes, you get 2 critters for each day, but many of those same sets of two are now repeating, which obviously isn't exciting or fun for my daughter to discover. She couldn't care less about this advent calendar now, and we're only halfway through it. The gimmick of the surprise has worn off, and the toys aren't worth getting excited over. Bummer. This advent calendar has been a hit with my 5-year-old these past two days. Someone mentioned that there are only 24 figurines, but what we are finding so far is that there really are 2 figurines behind each number, so it's as described. I'm docking 2 stars, though, because 2 out of the 4 erasers we have opened so far are already broken because of how flimsy the pieces are. We have the original Japanese Iwako puzzle erasers that this company is copying, and they are made of a firmer, more rigid material so that the little pieces are easier to fit together and don't tear easily. Here we are on day 2 of this advent calendar and today's disappointment, for example, was when my daughter, who is not tough on toys and of a delicate nature, tried to remove the rudolph figurine (so cute!) from the plastic wrap and one of the antlers, which is part of one piece containing the 2 antlers that fits into the head, gripped the plastic wrap enough to break off from the antler base as my daughter delicately pulled on the body of the reindeer. I noticed that the little piece of eraser that connects the two antlers is way thinner than the rest of the piece. Then the nose popped off, and even I had a devil of a time trying to fit the nose back on because the thin piece that fits into the body is too soft and flexible instead of rigid, unlike the protrusions of the Iwako puzzle pieces we have, causing it to bend on itself. My daughter can easily pull apart the Iwako erasers and put the pieces back together but not these from the advent calendar. So yeah - super cute designs in theory and nice little surprises each day as we count down to xmas, but the material is flimsy, tears easily, and doesn't make for easy building. Even I find the Iwako puzzles satisfying to pull apart and reconnect. These? Not so much. Luckily, my daughter thinks her new one-antlered rudolph is hilarious and she enjoys the surprise factor of the advent calendar, so I'm leaving 3 stars instead of 2 since it's technically serving its purpose there.

My kid enjoyed opening this a lot. She's 9 years old. We displayed all the cute little eraser items for the Christmas season. The day Christmas was over I threw them away except for a handful of cute ones. It's the kind of gift that brings you excitement for the moment but otherwise you'll have no use for and you won't really want to kick him around your house.
