These curtain panels are perfectly thick and heavy. They definitely blackout light as they suggest. They are also somewhat sound dampening. These are being used in a doorway with a tension rod. I wanted to love these curtains. Good price and seem well made. However, I wanted total blackout curtains, which these are not. Some of the reviews made it seem as though they would be, but they aren’t. Here they are pictured midday with both the lights on and off in our media room, next to the curtains I’m replacing. They look nice, but there is too much light bleed for me so they’re getting returned. ... show more
