One of the things I always hated about kids' toys was the ones that the kid would get excited about and then you find out you have to go buy some batteries or charge it for hours before the kid can play with it. That is NOT a problem with this RC car and that is just one of the things I really like about this car. First of all like I said, it comes with rechargeable batteries ready to go for the car, also included are 2 AA batteries for the controller. You might have to charge the watch controller (mine was charged) but that will not stop the kid from playing with it. The unique wheels allow it to run in almost any type of terrain and it will go for over an hour plus you can charge 1 battery while using the other one. There are so many things I like about this car I could go on but just let me say giving it a 5 Star rating was obviously a given and highly recommended. ... show more

This thing is so fun! 11yo son is thrilled with it. The wrist remote was fairly easy for him to get the hang of. It response really well to the wrist movements. It has an option to turn the music OFF!!! A dream come true for this momma! Two batteries gives you plenty of play time. It seems really durable! The media could not be loaded. This remote control has been lots of fun for my kids. They are ages 6 and 13 and both really enjoy it and can easily operate it by themselves. This stunt car can run on almost any surface. They have ran it all over our yard, through puddles in the driveway and over big rocks in the woods. We even took it to the beach and used it on the sand. The 360° rotation allows it to turn quickly and easily. It is extremely durable - it can flip, spin and tumble. It also charges quickly. The battery life is good and last for a while, the kids can get several play times in with it before it needs to be charged again. This car really has some speed too, it’s been hours of fun for the kids and my husband and I have enjoyed it too. ... show more

Likes: Moves in all sorts of directions. Wrist remote is pretty good (most of the time) Dislikes: There are NO instructions on how to use the other remote. Tried holding different buttons in different combos and nothing worked. If you lose the wrist remote or it breaks (made cheaply) your RC is useless. The wrist remote does not always connect or send the signal to the car. Loud. This RC is really loud. Ok for outdoors, but way too loud for inside a house. ... show more

This is pretty standard remote control car. However, the color did not match the remote control nor did the box. The car is red, the watch is black and blue along with the remote. I would have expected the remote and watch to match the car colors. The "remote" also needed to be paired. Their are no instructions for doing this. So for those who do not know this is pretty standard with RC cars and remotes. You need to power off the car, take the batteries out of the remote if you have installed. Make sure to turn off the "watch" if you have it on or already paired with the car. Turn the car on, then install the batteries on the remote. Wait about 3 seconds and press the bottom left button labeled "switch" in the instruction booklet (the picture is super tiny). Once paired you should be able to cycle through the modes just like with the watch. If by chance you paired the remote first and unable to use the watch. Repeat these same steps for the remote and the watch remote separately. I understand why they don't have instructions, if they did they would need to create them in multiple languages. The instructions they do have focuses on the watch only. This is a standard RC car with some differences in how the car moves around. It has a few more functions including some music. The handling is 'ok' with the remote. The response is a bit slower than I would like. The remote control once paired is much easier to use then the wrist band. The wrist band is 'ok' as well, but the input delay is not what i would have expected. I suspect that the sensor for determining the tilt is not very well for this kind of toy to get immediate response. This is very entertaining to play with and has lots of tricks compared to the basic RC cars. Overall its a solid 4. To get that 5 I would want to see better instructions, matching color for components and volume control on the audio. These are not stopping someone from having fun but they are quality of product issues if addressed could go a long way. ... show more

This RC car is unique in the sense that the remote is gesture-controlled and allows you to wave your hand in different directions to move the car. It is very intuitive and interesting to play with. and the battery life is decent.
