This Jouer Luminizing Glow Serum works well when mixed with foundation! I like that it contains hyaluronic acid and niacinamide, which both tend to help my skin look better. Hyaluronic acid serums frequently make my liquid foundation ball up, so I appreciate that I can use this instead of a standalone hyaluronic acid serum on days when I'm wearing makeup. When I mix this product with my foundation, it makes my foundation look slightly glowier. My daily foundation has a satin-like finish, and I would say this makes it look ever so slightly more matte, but it's barely noticeable. I don't love wearing this serum on its own, though. It's a bit too glittery for days when I'm not wearing makeup at all. The "Sunglow" shade looks really dark in its bottle, but it mostly sheers out when blended into my skin. I have fair, cool-toned skin, and when I blend this in without makeup, I would say it makes my skin look a shade darker. When I mix the serum into my foundation or wear it underneath my foundation, though, it doesn't seem to change the color of my foundation much at all. I have sensitive skin, and this does not cause me any irritation. It does not have a noticeable scent. I can't quite tell if it is having any long-term effects on my skin, but my skin has seemed clearer since I started using it with my makeup each day. Vitamin C products sometimes make me break out, so I am happy that this does not give me acne! I would recommend this if you are looking for a glowy serum with skincare ingredients to wear underneath or mixed with liquid foundation. I think most people might find it too unnatural to wear without makeup, though.

This review is for Jouer Luminizing Glow Drops for Face, Dewy Serum for Glowing Skin, 7% Niacinamide, Hyaluronic Acid, & Glycerin, 1 fl oz" A little goes a long way with this bronzing serum. A full drop is too much for my skin, I like to mix a tiny pin drop to my foundation for a nice glow effect that isn't over the top. Other than that, it feels good and hydrating on the skin, and I experienced no irritation. It's a little expensive in my book but would probably make a good gift as part of a makeup gift basket.

This product did not have a picture initially as a way to determine how dark it is. The bronze drops are too dark for my skin tone. However, the product is very glowing and gives a sunkissed tint to your skin once it is rubbed in. A little goes a long way, but half a pump was way too much for me. Great product, wrong color for me, would have ordered the champagne color.

The Jouer “Sunglow” serum arrived in a well labeled, branded box. Like a few others, I ordered about three weeks ago when there weren’t any images, so this darker color was the wrong match for my very fair skin, but I see there is a lighter option now, which is great. With niacinamide (my still acne-prone skin loves niacinamide), and some vitamin C and hyaluronic acid, this would be a beneficial luminizing glow serum for the right skin tone. The pump worked well for me, and I was able to get a small drop to try, several times. A small amount, blended well into my skin, wasn’t as dark as I thought it was going to be (but still didn’t look right on me), and there was no scent to my nose. The serum absorbed well with no tackiness. Vegan. Cruelty free (text and leaping bunny icon are on both box and bottle!). An icon states the serum should be good for 12 months after opening. “Made in the USA of US and Imported Components.”

it is pretty, but works just like any other skin illuminator. Can tend to look a little too sparkly or glowy if you have 50+ skin like me. Other great alternatives for less money.

The Jouer Serum glow drops are very glowie! I have been using it off and to figure out how to best use it and a half a pump is more then enough for my face! I also mix it with my moisturizer or foundation and find it works better. Use alone, and if you use a lot, you tend to look really glittery and it is too much. It has a really fun shimmer to it, but for me I only need a very little. As a serum, it is very hydrating and feels great on my skin. I love the way it feels as a product. It does absorb quickly and is nicely hydrating. Made in the USA
