I found this brand at the Container Store years ago and was really impressed by the quality. I've had those original containers for years now. (Even though I tell my family not to put them in the dishwasher bottom rack they still do, and yet these containers are still in pretty good condition despite that!) I've added more to my collection and I'm not disappointed. They seal easily and well, keep food fresh and it's easy to identify which cover goes to which container by the color coding. I also really like the shape, which fits and stacks well in our fridge and cabinets. My only complaint is that the smallest of these containers aren't useful for most of our purposes. They work fine and are as good quality as the larger size, but we don't have leftovers that small. There are other listings that have just the more popular sizes, if you don't want to bother with the tiny ones. ... show more

This is my third set of Joseph Joseph Nest Lock Food Storage Containers. I used my initial purchase daily and for years. I finally needed to lay my first set to rest due to age. However, the locking lids still worked and they were still airtight. Just a little worn out for my liking. I then bought another set and one for a friend as part of a house -warming gift. Agreed hands down, besides being colorful, they are practical. Neat and easy to store , I can always find matching lids, and they are airtight and easy to clean. Having the color of the container in the correct lid is a good feature, saves time looking for the right lid. I found that food stored in them remains fresh after a couple of days. I found that some teabags fit in the smallest of the containers. A good product, good price.

I love this set. This is the 3rd set I purchased for our kitchen. The lid locks into the container on all four sides and is air tight. The lid easily locks and unlocks. The color match of the lid with the color dot on the bottom of the container is very useful and a smart design. The containers all fit into each other saving a lot of space in my kitchen cabinet. I was able to throw out all of the other mix matched different sized containers. The plastic is thick, unlike a lot of the other cheaper quality containers. The other two sets I purchased a couple of years ago and they still work perfectly and have stained from food like other containers I have had.
