Whether I'm serving, smashing, or engaged in a close net rally, the Perseus consistently delivers. I also added a Tourna overgrip to the Perseus, and it definitely elevated the grip on the paddle. I LOVE THIS PADDLE. I had been using the Hyperion for the last 6 months and fell in love with the paddle. The paddle had great control, power, and spin. The only thing I felt it lacked was a larger sweet spot. Although, this did not stop me from playing with it as I loved it. I had ordered my paddle recently and got it within two days. Hours after receiving it I went to play some competitive play with a group. It has a very similar feel to the Hyperion and is very easy to transition to. I fell in love with this paddle even more and I feel it is the perfected Hyperion. This paddle is much more forgiving as it has a very large sweet spot. I had hit it on all different parts of the paddle and the ball seemed to fly off. It was amazing! The control, power, and spin is unmatched compared to other paddles on the market. Overall this is a great paddle if you are looking to up your game and have more consistent dinking, drops, and drives. 100/10 ... show more

This item came with a crack in it! we tried calling Joola and left a message with no return phone call, we started the return process with amazon dropped it off at UPS. and actually put a note on the paddle where it damage, it’s been pass 30 days since it was returned with no refund and I already purchased another one from them…. horrible customer service at Joola! ... show more

I’ve had a GearBox “8” paddle for 3-4 years and enjoyed its steady consistent performance and decided to try this Joola paddle and I’m glad I did!! Great grip tackiness and a little lighter than tha “8” which seems to allow me to get my paddle into position a little quicker.. Large sweet spot allows for fewer mis-hits .. I’m a 3.5 female player and I tried the 14mm Scorpeus (Anna Bright’s paddle) and this 14mm Perseus. I thought the Scorpeus would be the winner based on some of the reviews, but not for me! The 14mm Perseus was the winner the moment I hit my first shot. It’s lightweight, has a longer paddle face which helps me a lot because I’m short, the grip is thin, and it’s way more powerful than the other paddles I’ve tried. The control is excellent as well. I love it! People have come up to me recently to tell me how much better I’ve gotten, but I think the paddle has played a big part! ... show more
