I have POTS and possible hEDS and compression garments are the difference between being upright or bedridden. After much research I found that many people like myself benefit from corsets. While any corset might help with blood pressure, posture, keeping the joints in place and relieving coat hanger pain they are not all made equal. I got this on a lightning deal figuring I'd try it for the price. Taking into account other reviews I bought a size down from what I normally wear. I am 5'6" and 180. I normally wear an xl. This corset is well made, thick and sturdy. It fits my torso perfectly and with the extender, I can get it to the second hook row. I’m 5’ 4” 202 lb and got the 2X. It fits great with the extender and is well made! It’s a thick material. I make sure to wear a cami or a tank top between it and my skin. But it helps with my posture and warming up my torso while working out, and helping to shape my waist! I wouldn’t use this like under a dress as shapewear. And thankfully it came with the extender because I do need it (although I’m only like one hook set away from not needing it). ... show more

I ordered this according to the size chart. I actually got it a size smaller. The largest size it should fit was a couple inches smaller than my waist. It arrived and even at the tightest setting, it was way too loose. It did not offer any compression and at the top it was too wide to even come in contact with me. It does seem well made. The materials feel nice and the construction seems very good. Unfortunately, I can't tell if it works well because it's way too large. ... show more

This is one of the most comfortable waist trainers I have ever tried (and I have tried A LOT). This maintains it's shape and doesn't bunch up, which is a non-negotiable for me. The color is so cute. It's supportive without being too constricting, but you absolutely need to size down at least one size. I'm a size small shirt and I got an xs, I should have gotten the xxs. The extender is comes with is great but I don't need it and to wear it at a very comfortable, not too tight setting, imon the second hook level. I can pretty easily get to the first hooks, so I will be repurchase in xxs when I feel the need to. I just wish I had started with the smaller size because they do provide that extender. Overall, this is great! The only thing I wish it had that it doesn't is a slightly higher back, but aside from that I'm very happy with this purchase. ... show more

I just received the Kimikal waist trainer today and also wore it half of the day! What i can say so far is that the fabric is very good quality and durable! The sewing is done very well and i dont see this falling apart after a few wears! Once i wore it, i came to realise that i stood straighter although this is just a waist trainer it helped me with posture as well! To top it of i always had pain on my lower hip due to a fall a few years ago and when i wore the trainer it forced the hip to stay put lol i know this might sound funny but its true! I hesitated to buy this product and now im very glad i chose this over all the other ones in the price range!!! Make sure you measure yourself before purchasing the item! My waist is 39" lol and size XXL fit perfectly! Dont buy a smaller size thinking you are gonna squeeze it on, no sis you need to upgrade to the larger size 😂!!!!
