It doesn’t just have a shimmer. I mean it’s actually silver sparkle like I’m in my 20s or high school I did not expect that.. I got this a week ago. Upon opening the container, I thought "this looks like a nice color" sort of the color you get when you work out and you have that nice glow. Having received it in the afternoon, I didn't have any reason to put some on since I already had makeup on. Instead, my plan was to use it the next morning getting ready for work. It had a faint smell of rosemary, an aroma that wasn't offensive. It reminded me of Crisco in a way - initially hard to the touch then softens - but not quite as greasy as Crisco. Putting it on my cheeks, looking in the big mirror in the bathroom, I concluded that, yeah, it was a nice glow, a healthy look. However, when I leaned down to put on my eye makeup, I was appalled. THERE WAS GLITTER ALL OVER MY FACE. What the heck? Stunned, as I turned my face back and forth in the magnifying mirror, I looked like a disco ball. I had just broken one of my personal tenets of not trying a new makeup product before doing anything important including going to work. Had to wash my face and start over with my usual foundation. So, I thought I would try it again, on a non-workday and see if my family noticed the glitter effect. My daughter started laughing and asked if I had just come from a rave. She could see the glitter from across the room. Well, that did it for me.
