I’ve been using this LANEIGE Lip Sleeping Mask and overall I really like it. A little goes a long way, so you only need a small amount each night, and the container lasts for a long time. There’s also a good amount of product in the jar, so I think it’s a good value. What really stood out to me is how quickly it seemed to work. My lips felt more moisturized and looked fuller and more hydrated after using it. It gives my lips that soft, slightly “puffed up” feeling, which I personally noticed pretty quickly. However, I would recommend using it with caution. I accidentally got some of the product slightly inside my mouth past my lips, and the skin in that area also looked and felt puffier the next day. Because of that, I would be careful to keep it only on the lips and avoid getting it around or inside the mouth. Overall, it’s long-lasting, moisturizing, and you get a good amount of product. WAY better than lip balm!!! I’ve always slathered on enough lip balm before bed to last until morning. I’d reapply multiple times during the day, but still my lips have always been prone to chapping and never quite felt smooth. THIS has changed the whole game. I use it at night, of course, and I wake up with it still on my lips. I also use it during the day instead of regular lip balm. It definitely has more staying power and I don’t need to reapply nearly as often. I know you’re not supposed to use exfoliant on your lips, but mine were such a mess that I did it once before I started using this. Now my lips stay absolutely smooth, hydrated, and healthy with much less effort than I was putting in for comparatively pathetic results. I was a little skeptical of the price/size ratio, but a little really does go a long way and its staying power means I use it less frequently during the day. I absolutely love this mask BUT, if I wear it for too long my lips get red blotches and if I continue to wear it after that I get like a water blister. It's entirely possible that that's my fault since this is technically a night sleep mask and I wore it at night, during the day, in the evening, anytime I left the house because it looked so good. I will say that when it wears off my lips are really dry like excessively dry but since I was wearing it so much I didn't really mind. I suspect this is also part of the mild allergic reaction. I would imagine if you don't have sensitive skin then you'll absolutely love this but I have exceptionally sensitive skin. I was devastated. That's not why I took away a star though. I use it every morning and every night, and my lips have never felt softer. It has a smooth, luxurious texture, stays on well, and even tastes and smells amazing without being overpowering. I've tried just about every lip balm, mask, and treatment out there—from drugstore brands to expensive luxury products—and nothing compares.
