Okay so at first, I was a little hesitant. I’ve seen this product all over tiktok (and influencer YouTube videos) and was skeptical at first. I know $24 is a steep price tag for a lip product (especially since I’d never tried Summer Fridays before), but I honestly was pleasantly surprised when I got it in the mail. The color isn’t super deep like I initially thought it would be (based on pictures of the container/box it comes in), but I liked that it was deeper version of my own lip color. My co-workers are obsessed with these lip balms and talk about them and this brand ad naseum, so I finally bit the bullet and ordered one to see what the big deal is all about. Well, now I get it. I bought the Poppy shade and it is such a gorgeous shade of coral. I’ve been on the hunt for something in this shade that has the color payoff I’m looking for but without the heaviness or stickiness of gloss, and that doesn’t pool around my lip line like a lot of lip oils. Well, this is it. The color payoff is exactly what I’ve been looking for and the formula is absolutely perfect. It’s lightweight, produces a gorgeous shine, but it’s not sticky or goopy and doesn’t do that pooling thing and its actually moisturizing…my lips don’t dry out after it wears down like a lot of tinted oils and balms do. Ok, so everyone’s clearly heard all of the hype on this product. $24 is a lot of money to spend for anything though, so i was a bit hesitant. This product is hydrating, but not as much shine as in the picture. Still love it, and kept my lips moisturized and un chapped all day. My only issue is that I have better lip balms, and they cost way less than $24. Sadly it just wasn’t all i wanted. Although the applicatior was so nice and the bottle is super aesthetic🤭 And about the scent, the only way i can describe it is as warm sugar and vanilla. Not sure if it is truly worth $24, but guess what, i’m willing to spend it. And yes, I will be buying it again ... show more

It has this buttery feel with a medium shine. It feels like it really melts into my lips and they are super soft afterwards! Love, love, love! Also the color is amazing… it’s subtle but perfect for many occasions and a great for everyday.

Great product overall with keeping your lips well moisturized and nourished. The only down fall is the strong scent. To people who are sensitive to very sweet smells, like myself I feel sick when something is too strong. I love the product but the smell is so strong.
