Good affordable solution until I get a new deck or patio next fall. My composite wood deck is old with lots of extra screws for loose boards. It used to be bigger but due to age and wear, a big portion was removed, and I'm left with a 12'L x 8'W deck. It never used to get too hot to walk on because the deck boards were a light beige color. Silly me, I made the mistake of putting down a dark cedar color sealer last year and now the boards get too hot to walk or stand in direct afternoon sun but do cool down quickly when the exposure changes. Same thing for the rugs but not as hot as the bare deck boards. The rugs are attractive and an excellent buy. I bought a 4x6 and a 3x5 Jonathan Y Boho Medallion rug Black/Gray. They are true to size. The color is good and actually brightens up the area. They look like the advertised photos. My 2 photos the color difference is due to 1 taken in early evening, the other in early morning. The quality is excellent. It was delivered rolled and well packaged. They laid flat right away. They did not emit any odd odor. They are smooth and comfortable to walk on. After a long, hard rain they did not get soggy, they stayed stiff and didn't hold too much water. When wet they were not heavy to lift and throw over the fence to dry. They dried in about 2 hours. They are durable for outdoors. I deliberately ordered 2 rugs, 2 sizes because I read when using rugs on decks you need to leave space for water to run through the boards and air to circulate. I'm happy with them and received compliments from my neighbors. ... show more

I did't realize how small it was but that was MY fault. This is a decent rug and I would recommend it for an outdoor patio, basement or other high traffic area because it's sturdy and colorful. Very happy but definitely recommend making sure you know what size you want!
