—Update 12/19/21: I’ve read through some of the new reviews and noticed people talking about “waves” and that the carpet won’t lay flat. If you have furniture sitting on this carpet than shuffle your feet across the carpet and lift the furniture to help it stretch. I have furniture on two sides and a heavy coffee table so I shuffled around in each direction and we have no waves at all. If you don’t have furniture on this than I might say this isn’t for you. Stains have continued to be easily removed and the corners and sides have relaxed to flat with time. I continue to recommend this carpet! — This carpet comes just as described! It’s exactly what I was looking for, inexpensive but modern and stylish. I previously had a short shag rug that just wasn’t cutting it with a baby (so. much. spit-up) and a shedding dog, and it had also become very very difficult to vacuum. I debated buying a ruggable OR a more expensive vacuum that could handle the shag rug but it just felt so disgusting that I wanted to replace it. Ruggables are $$$ and so are nice vacuums so I came here looking for something that wouldn’t break the bank and I wouldn’t feel bad about chucking later on. This fits the bill. It IS thin, so if you’re looking for plush this isn’t for you. But you could buy a pad for underneath to help. I’ve had this rug for about a week now and the edges have relaxed, but aren’t laying completely flat (pictures are from right after I laid it down). I only have one corner exposed and it also sticks up a little, but some double sided tape would take care of that. There was some bubbling for the first couple days, so I just shuffled my feet across the carpet and picked up the furniture as I went to help it stretch and relax (it works!). The best part of this rug for me is that I can use my eureka stick vacuum or my really cheap bissell and both do an incredible job of getting the dog hair up. Both vacuums have rotating heads and using them hasn’t caused any damage. My dog also chewed a carrot on the rug and got orange stains on it so I used some dog carpet stain remover and it came right up. Our family doesn’t wear shoes in the house so I can’t speak on how it will hold up to shoe traffic, but barefoot traffic hasn’t caused any changes in the pattern or material yet. I have absolutely no complaints about this carpet! Just remember, this is Amazon and you’re buying a cheap product so don’t expect the world! I live by reviews on products since descriptions and sellers can be deceiving, so hopefully this review helps someone! ... show more

I’m really happy with this area rug—it looks fantastic in my space and adds a warm, stylish touch to the room. The colors are true to the photos, and the texture feels nice underfoot. When I first unrolled it, there were a few noticeable ripples and creases. They didn’t flatten out on their own, but I used a steamer on the backside of the rug and that worked perfectly—now it lays completely flat. One thing to note: the rug does move around quite easily on hard flooring, so I recommend purchasing an under-mat or non-slip liner to keep it in place. Very Pretty area rug. Came in nice shape, did not take but an hour for it to lay flat. I most diffently would buy this rug again. Its soft and love the pattern on the rug. Its not heavy but a nice weight for hardwood floors.

I never write reviews, but this Jonathan Y area rug deserves applause. For the price, I am truly beyond pleased. Came rolled up in a box (some cheaper ones I saw online come folded up in plastic). Yes, it's thin, I knew that going in. But the texture is soft and dense. The edges are perfectly finished all around. The backing is even and very well done, easy to work with and straighten. I placed the rug on the floor and rolled both ends opposite from the way they arrived, left them overnight, and they flattened well. I am wildly sensitive to odors and expected some at least minimal unpleasantness, but amazingly noted absolutely none. The rug is marked Made In Turkey. Centuries of carpet tradition. So maybe the quality has something to do with that. My budget is very limited, so the price was doable. The quality has been an immense surprise. Worth all the online research and reading of customer reviews I did prior to ordering. 6 stars. ... show more

These are good rugs and look nice enough in my space but there is a negative - these rugs come so tightly rolled up that it takes at least two weeks of having them laid out on the opposite side and walking on them to flatten so the ends won't curl up - they are thin so they do fit under the door but the rug would be so much better if it were not rolled this way before shipping. ... show more

I purchased this rug and had it sent to my mom’s house who was redoing her entire house. Put it in her living room and decided we needed to move it to the dining room room. Absolutely love it great quality. The color is nice. The size is nice. The only issue is that it comes rolled up instead of folded so you will have to put some heavy weight on it for a while to get it to settle back down. I wish they would package this different. But seriously, Great buy and a good purchase price right now don’t miss out ... show more
