First things first, an 8x10 (actually 7’9”x9’11”) for the $100 ballpark is an excellent value. I got a thick rug pad for underneath because I knew this rug couldn’t be that plush for the price. It’s stylish, made of synthetics (good if you have pests that eat wool rugs), and it isn’t terribly malodorous. Of course it was shipped rolled up tight, so I expect it to take awhile to relax flat. I really like the look of this rug! It’s fairly good quality especially for the price. It’s not the softest rug but I also think it being so short will be easy to keep clean. I set up furniture on the corners overnight and it mostly flattened. Still a few spots like pictures that are sticking up but I think they will flatten over time. ... show more

It had a fair amount of ripples when we first opened, but they are becoming much flatter over the few days we've had it out. The 8x10 is pictured. I also ordered a 2x8 & 5’ round. The 2x8 & 8x10 straightened out a lot quicker than then the round one. The 8x10 still curls up under the couch, but I taped the corners down that stick out. The 2x8 was easy to get flat & tape down. The 5’ round is not so easy so far. Hoping it eventually lays flat.
