Took a chance and ordered this rug from Amazon. It's always risky to buy a rug unseen, especially not knowing what it feels like either. This brought my bedroom vibe together perfectly. I didn't know just how much, until I laid it down. There were a few creases at first, but those went away over the course of a couple of weeks. It's incredibly soft under foot. I love that it's the first thing I feel when I step out of bed in the morning. I got the 8x10 and it's the perfect size under my king size bed. It’s pretty soft for a reasonably priced shag rug. So far it’s been easyish to vacuum. Sometimes it’s hard to get things that get trapped in between each shag piece, but it’s no big deal I just grab’em and keel going. The only thing I will say is that it isn’t exactly 8x10 ft. It’s more like 7’8”x10’. It runs a little short but that’s okay, it still works in my space just fine. I also would recommend you get an under the rug slip, it isn’t that cushioned so getting something for underneath to add a bit of cushion should do the trick and then it’s all good! It didn’t smell coming out of the wrapping, and it actually delivered 4 days earlier than it was supposed to which is very nice! It also says that’s is supposed to be easy to get stains out, I haven’t stained it yet...fingers crossed I don’t, but if I do have to get a stain out I’ll come back and let you know how it went. Update: it was semi easy to get spill stains out. However, it was not easy to get the dirt stains out. It requires constant maintenance otherwise it will look filthy very quickly. ... show more
