Update 11/14/22: this frame does indeed squeak. It’s still super sturdy but if you’re a light sleeper, it’s gonna bother you. Every time I turn, this frame squeaks. I took away one star for the squeaking as it’s really really annoying and disturbs my sleep. Perfect metal frame! Took 25 mins to put together, no squeak, super sturdy. I am 6”3 and 300 pounds and my spouse is 5”10 and 240. We have a 13 inch foam mattress and it sits perfectly above the footboard the way I was hoping. The canopy bars are very light so I would recommend only thin curtains or mosquito netting type curtains otherwise it may be too heavy. I can’t wait to get my curtains up! This frame sits about 14 inches off the ground and that’s perfect for my height! Cheers to not sleeping on the floor anymore! ... show more

Even though it was packaged very well, several pieces had rust on them. I only put four stars instead of five because of the rust. It obviously wasn't enough to have me send it back. Spray painting the individual pieces with rust-proof paint might be a good plan. I didn't, however, because I was so excited to get it put together. One of the reviewers said it took several hours to assemble. I, a 50-year-old woman, put it together by myself in about an hour and a half. I DID, however, have the right tools for the job. The bed came with its own tools, but they aren't the best. If you use those, plan on taking a LONG time to put it together. Also, if your mattress is thin, you will feel the slats. I recently bought a good mattress, but the one I used before this would have needed a piece of plywood or something underneath. If you have a good mattress, I'm sure you will be fine. I took a nap on it after assembly, and felt nothing but rested. I love my princess bed. ... show more

The bed would be perfect if it was made well. The balls on top are stripped the screw goes right through the hole so it isn’t properly attached

Can’t wait to get curtains for the canopy. It was super easy to put together. It’s very light weight. I would say it shakes a bit when you move around on it so the sturdiness could be better but for the price you can’t really complain! EDITING 4 MONTHS LATER: bed did not hold up. It was so flimsy and started creaking every time you’d move on it. The middle support bar also bent and the bed began dipping in the middle. Just ordered a new bed frame because I couldn’t take it anymore ... show more

Very easy to put together, I did it myself. However, the bars at the top are not sturdy at all! They bend easily and sometimes can squeak when moving. I bought shear window curtains to go on the poles and it’s very pretty.

    • CREAKY BED!!
This has to be the creakiest bed I’ve ever owned. It will leave you and your partner restless. Every little movement the bed makes noise. You get what you pay for that’s for sure! Aside from the I like the frame I guess.. But my king mattress kinda wedges in between the top where I guess you call it the head board is. I’d recommend getting a different bed due to the loudness of it. It’s actually very frustrating, I’m a light sleeper. I don’t know what the hell these other comments are talking about, it’s absolutely not quite! And I’ve tightened the bolts as well still didn’t make much of a difference. I’ve had this frame for a month now!! Oh and I have like 12 pillows on my bed it will continuously wedged in the “head board” and work it’s way to the ground. Save your money and buy something of quality. As far as Assembly goes it was very easy. As long as you can follow directions. I’m pregnant and did it basically on my own just needed help holding a few pieces up, that I could hold together on my own and screw together. Trust me I tried. Metal seems sturdy I guess. My mattress hasn’t fell to the floor yet, that’s good right? lol. ... show more
