I love these pillows! The stuffing is very comfortable -- springy and full, but also supportive. I actually like a lower/less dense pillow, so I ended up removing about 1/3 of the stuffing from each one. Handy little zipper with fabric flap to prevent stuffing getting caught in the zipper makes it easy to customize the pillow's density. Gussets along edge also help it maintain shape. I'm very pleased with these pillows! NOTE: If you want maximum fluffiness and density definitely WASH the pillows. 48 hours out of the shrink wrap, they were "thicker" and "more concentrated" in density -- not "hard" per se, but still without maximum air infusion or "fluff." I actually could have just used them like that, given my preferences. After i washed them and pulled out all the stuffing to air dry, carefully pulling it and fluffing it by hand, the fluffiness tripled and i ended up not using all the stuffing. TO WASH: Machine wash the pillows with the stuffing inside. Do them by themselves; they kind of take up the whole drum. Wash cold with minimal detergent (or none at all). DO NOT TUMBLE DRY. Heat will melt/meld the stuffing, as it is synthetic, and you'll get hard lumps. To dry, lay out two bathtowels on your bed -- each towel will be the "lane" within which you place the stuffing to air-dry. Depending on your elevation/humidity environment, this could take a few hours or a full day. While pulling the damp stuffing out of each pillow, just work by the handful, and just sorta spread out each ball of stuffing so it's got a uniform balance of air/space throughout. Listen to a podcast or watch TV while doing this, or enlist helpers -- it's boring. BUT -- at least how it worked out for me -- you really do get SO much more fluff this way. And the benefit of knowing you're sleeping on clean materials.

I've needed pillows for a longer time than I'm comfortable saying but I finally doubled down and decided I needed to get at least 2 to try out and OMG these are super soft and comfortable the filling is removable cotton like blend, the casing is thick and soft too very nice, they feel so soft! They also came rolled up and fluffed out quite quickly and seem to still be getting fluffy after an hour or two I usually use multiple pillows or roll one up a bit but I laid down on one after fluffing time and honestly just one will do at least for sleeping, they arent like tall or anything but the feel of the pillow is perfect to get the right amount of lift and soft enough to smoosh if needed. I bought my last ones at a near store and paid $30+ on pillows and these are far better quality. I'm extremely happy to finally have some really nice quality pillows for a good price! Hope this review helps. Worth a buy!

I received the (2) vacuum sealed pillows and removed one from the sealed packaging. I let it expand for a few hours, folded and fluffed it, and removed quite a bit of the filling. I'm a stomach sleeper, so I need a soft pillow. The best pillow I've ever owned was a down pillow - not feather & down, but 100% down. They are very expensive, so I decided to try the down alternative again. These pillows are well constructed - nice soft cotton cover, covered zipper, and good stitching. That's where the 4 star review comes from. But this pillow is not designed for stomach sleepers. I removed what seemed like almost half of the filling. It's just a thinner dense pillow. Not soft and pliable. So I've returned these pillows, and my quest continues.

I've been looking for a pillow that was soft but still firm enough. Kept ordering but I could tell the first night that they were not what I wanted and I had to return them. These pillows were exactly what I wanted. They are soft and fluffy, but also firm enough that your head does not sink into them completely.

These pillows look exactly as described and have a good quality feel to them. They have zippers on the side and come with a fabric bag so that if the stuffing is too high, you can remove some. I think they would be great pillows for someone who finds them comfortable but I just never could no matter how I adjusted the stuffing. The ad also says free returns, but I was unable to actually return them. Amazon requires that you return them via UPS. When I went to the UPS facility, they say for pillows packaging (in a box - a large bag or trash bag is not acceptable) is required. I do not have boxes large enough for these laying around and since they were vacuum packed prior to shipping, the original box is too small. My choices were to either not return them or to pay UPS more money for them to package than I spent on the pillows - I wish there had been some information about that in the description before I took a chance on them. So my overall rating is 3/5 stars because The quality is good, they do appear as described, but they just weren’t comfortable enough to sleep on (for my body anyway) and that even though returns are accepted, the process makes returns difficult to impossible.
