The box was heavy. I noticed from the front door camera the delivery guy dropped it hard on the ground. I was sure things either broke or bent but everything was in order. Putting it together was very easy with no help.

When the box was delivered, I was a bit worried as the box had a hole and the tapes were loose etc. However, everything inside was in a good shape and the assembly was straightforward. The end product was comfortable and stylish. It was right that the ottomans were a must for comfort. This set is just what it looks like in the photos, and the product is both sturdy and attractive once assembled. We'd have rated it a full 5 stars, except for one flaw, which was that in the set we received the bolts to assemble the table were simply too short and would not engage the threads in the corresponding nut. The fix was simple (35mm M6 bolts instead of the supplied 30mm ones), and with that change the table went together easily and securely. Their customer service was responsive throughout (generally replying within a day), and clearly intended to make things right. We were initially quite put off when the table didn't assemble as shipped, but seeing how consistently they strove to understand and fix the issue changed our minds. The resulting assembled set is both comfortable and looks like it will stand up to rain, snow, dogs, and general abuse. We're happy with the outcome ... show more
