In my experience, this product delivers exactly as advertised: for mild hearing loss, it is a very reasonable device that helps to integrate your environment with sound details that you perhaps thought were lost. The fit is good, and the device does no become uncomfortable when worn for the better part of the day. Very easy to handle, the little handling wire is a nice touch, seems to be sturdy enough. Battery charge so far held through the day, no problem. Good idea to place the device in the charging case though - yes, the device has built-in battery, no need to fiddle with replacement batteries. Volume adjustment might take a bit of work: use the supplied adjustment tool, a tiny screwdriver to adjust the desired sound level, as you go back-and-forth, in-and-out a couple of times, but most likely you only need to do this once. Yes, there is some white noise, or background noise, and some might object to that - however, this level of white noise does not detract from clarity of the sound as perceived. The amount of background noise is low enough that the device should not lose a star for that. There is no app control, but again, that should not be a minus, because once adjusted, the volume will continue to stick, and battery charging is very easy. Keep in mind that this device is meant to help moderate hearing loss, and that it is not a multi-thousand dollar deal - that way you will see that it does not fall short of its claims. ... show more

    • Buyer Beware 1 Year Warranty

I purchased this for my grandmother who was visiting me, however, she fell ill and could not visit until a few months later. Unfortunately, by the time she arrived, the 1 month amazon coverage was over. When she tried on the hearing aid, it would emit a high pitched sound and she would have to remove them. That sound would only happen when the ear piece was in her ear. It would stop once she removed them. We tried all the trouble shooting recommendations and none worked. I contacted amazon, and because I passed the 1 month return period, Amazon told me I had to contact Vomues LLC directly as they had a 1 year warranty in the product and will give me a refund. Here’s the catch, Vomues LLC has NO CONTACT INFORMATION. There isn’t a phone number, email, or address listed anywhere on the packaging or the booklet it came with. They don’t even have a website which I discovered when I tried to google the company. I told Amazon and they told me to reach out using the buyer/seller messenger via the Amazon app. They responded to offer me a replacement, but by this point, my grandma already purchased a working hearing aid and didn’t need a replacement. When I declined the replacement and requested a refund, they disappeared. I kept trying to contact them and they kept ignoring my messages. Only when I said I would have to involve my lawyers, they responded only to offer me a replacement again. After I declined they said they don’t have my order information on file and won’t be able to give me a refund. I sent them a photo with proof that I ordered it and it was sold by Vomues LLC that included my order number, and again they disappeared. I’ve been trying to reach them for 6 months now. I wanted to type this review to warn buyers, if you plan on returning, do so right away before the first month is up. Otherwise, you will not get a refund as they do not honor the 1 year warranty they claim to offer in the description. ... show more

I have moderate frequency loss, which made catching conversations difficult. These aids help greatly. I am able to hear sounds and to determine which to focus on. I no longer miss out on important parts of a conversation. The important information I would like to share about this product are two things. -1) you must find the right canal fit to have them work correctly. If you do not choose the correct fit you will receive the whistle feedback at the most inopportune times. The device whistles to tell you it is seated correctly, which is very annoying to myself as well as to those close by. With normal movement during the day if you have the wrong fit the device shifts and starts to whistle. -2) If you have not chosen the correct canal fit the bud pops off and sticks inside ear canal, which is a challenge to remove! Seems as if the ridge should be a tighter fit to NEVER allow this happen. Above all these aids have brought back my ability to hear and participate in full conversations. ... show more
