It smells fabulous and works great. It’s a small bottle but the price was right it keeps frizzy hair down and puts a nice shine without looking greasy. I used quite a bit the first time I used it but won’t from now on. I sprayed on damp hair as instructed and brushed it out. Air dried my hair then ran the blow dryer over it with a styling brush. I was looking for a replacement for the discontinued Joico Daily Care Leave In Detangler - and this is not it. the Daily Care beautifully penetrated the hair shaft leaving elasticity and smoothness without suppressing natural wave. It beautifully transformed the texture of my highlighted hair. Unfortunately, the Inner Joi is more topical and has no lasting conditioning effects ultimately leaving dryness. Further, I have purchased many of the the highly rated leave in's from other major retail outlets, and none even remotely compare to Daily Care Detangler. Perhaps the replacement for Daily Care was the Hydrosplash leave in, but with Dimethicone as the second ingredient (after water) , it is not an option. Will continue searching. ... show more

I have long thick curly hair where if I use leave in conditioner after I shower it will still get tangled to the point where my hair will break if I try to brush it when it’s dry (and I have healthy hair). I was happy to find something to detangle my hair when it’s dry but when I received the product it said it was meant for damp hair. I asked why the ad said it can be used on dry hair and amazons answer was “oh that’s how it’s marketed but the ingredients and instructions (you know everything that actually makes up the product) is meant for it to be used on damp hair.
