Love John Freda is a dream for brunettes. I'm used to bleach my hear in 2020 & 2021. My hair was very damaging. I read a lot of reviews calling out the fantastic scent. I guess I made the assumption that this conditioner would have a cocoa scent to it, you know because of the name and all. Nothing could be further from the truth. It's a very strong floral like "old lady" scent and I can barely stand it. Not going to lie, that turned me off right away. It's very strong and it really lingers. As for the conditioner itself, I don't find it very moisturizing at all and it does nothing for my color or the vibrancy of my hair. Again love the product but the last time I ordered this one of the tubes had a slit it it like it got hit with a box cutter. It was packaged so it did not make much of a mess put really hard to use now as it comes out on top and bottom

I used to like JF’s Visibly Deeper, but couldn’t find it. After a few uses, it has helped tone down some of my summer brass that has come through but I wouldn’t say it does much to darken medium blonde/light brown hair.
