I have just ordered my 6th one of these little trail cams, they work great for me. I ordered my first 4 back in December of 2023, set them up out on our hiking trails on our property after we had some kids trespass & damage our property. The cameras were out all winter long, & were still operational & in good shape when I checked on them beginning of April, the batteries weren’t even depleted! We’ve since caught 2 more trespassers on camera & we cut new trails so I ordered more cameras. The only issue I have with the cameras is that nighttime videos don’t record more than a few seconds, daytime no issues though. I also am not thrilled the seller has since restricted to ordering one camera at a time, makes it a nuisance to have to make multiple orders.

I bought this camera (the less expensive M1 camera) a few weeks ago and am shocked at how difficult it is to use. The "User Manual" is terrible and setting it up is NOT easy. The tiny screen is almost unusable. And, because it requires a magnifying glass to even read the text on it, setup is very frustrating and viewing any photos on it kind of pointless. Setup was further complicated by a small piece of plastic at the left end of the On/Off/Setup switch (from when that piece came out of the mold). It kept me from being able to switch to Live Mode until I cut that excess plastic off. They include a cheap strap which broke the first time I tried to use it. They also include a short cable (apparently to plug into a computer?) but absolutely no instructions on how to do that in the User Manual. I finally just removed the SD card and viewed the files on my computer. I couldn't find any YouTube videos reviewing this particular camera. I understand this is a cheap product but I've spent WAY TOO MIUCH time getting any value out of it so far. ********** While most of my criticisms still apply, I went back through the User Manual and did find several things I missed or didn't read. First, there is a discussion of how to connect the camera to my computer via the USB cable in the manual. Second, there is a post-sales support email address in the manual. I emailed it and got an immediate response promising help. Will update this when I've received it. ******** Updated 1/16/2023 ******** I have updated my rating to five stars primarily due to the incredible support I received from post-sales support person, Kim. Kim replaced the M1 camera with the other (slightly more expensive and upgraded option on Amazon), the T1A camera. The replacement is a FAR better choice and an excellent value. The screen is larger, the controls easier to use, photo quality and motion detection are significantly better. It does require a different SD card (microSD vs. SD) but that shouldn't be an issue. The manual still needs editing by a fluent tech writer, but overall, this was a good value for the money.

Both of my cameras I bought at the same time will not record video for the time I set it for. Set for 10 seconds, only get 1-3 seconds per recording. The cameras IR filters are stuck engaged after being in the woods for 2 weeks. Both cams failed, no extreme temps or weather. both IR filters are stuck, one takes pink daytime photos, the other cant take night photos. The cameras record in great quality, trigger fast, and are small and light weight. The batteries (x4 AA) are at half charge after about 3 weeks with a handful of videos being recorded. The menu is easy to use and navigate, and its easy to get the camera setup and operating. and it comes with a lot of great mounting options as well as cables to run off of a continuous power source. I don't recommend using this product because you run the risk of wasting your $$$ I will contact the company with my issue. I hope they reach out to me about sending these in to have them replaced. Will update if anything happens with CS - 2/20/24

All the same features and more out of a compact size. Does pictures, video & both at the same time, takes 3 pictures then a video. Also has audio too. Never had these features on any other camera & I really like them. Been using other cameras for a while without all these features and this one is by far the best especially for the price. Easy to set up, easy to mount and only uses 4 AA batteries NOT 8 like most of the rest of them do. Just bought another one and as my old ones wear out I'm replacing them all with these. I'll never buy another featureless, oversized, overpriced, battery sucker trail camera in a retail store ever again.
