This is a very loud mouthpiece and is bright. It will help you play over a jazz ensemble, without a mic. So you have to work on not being too loud. The one I bought fits the alto sax, no gapping. Great quality and workmanship. The mouthpiece functions real well, very free-blowing, great on low and high registers. Perhaps the best mouthpiece I've ever played; HR or metal. Try it with the Jody Power Ring ligature and Plasticover reeds. If you work on the bandstand five nights a week, four sets a night, you'll be glad you did.

don't have it anymore. nice and bright mpc., but wasn't impressed with gold plating. the gold started lifting and corroding on the reed table and at this price range I wasn't impressed. Went to Theo Wanne mpc's and never looked back.
