  • Perfect buy for storage solutions and small spaces Perfect buy for storage solutions and small spaces
Color: Black Size: Twin
This bad is super cute and very functional! My kid loves it. It was not too difficult to assemble, and it’s surprisingly very compact for our space. Not too heavy to slide, though I wouldn’t recommend moving around too much. Great purchase!

  • LOOKS GREAT, a struggle to assemble, moving it may be a challenge
Color: Rustic Oak Size: Twin
Update: After my review, the seller promptly sent me a very kind message with an apology for the struggles we experienced and consideration for our trouble. I'm upping their stars to 4 for great customer service and will reiterate that the bed really does look great and my daughter is happy with it (especially the outlet on the top and the lighting features). Where do I start? At the beginning, I guess. This bed frame arrives in two boxes. One is about 2' by 3.5' and is hefty but not unmanageable - maybe 40 or 50 lbs. The other box is, reasonably, around 7' long and weighs a ton. Moving it from my front porch into the house by myself was a feat, and I apologized to the delivery driver (who was no longer present) profusely the entire time, which took me more than a few minutes. Then it sat on our living room floor for a month, because my college kid wanted to take it to her new rental. Great idea. So, we moved it and got it all set up this week, she and I. It took us (two strong German-blooded women who have worked on farms, built structures and furniture from scratch, and can find our way around a tool box) at least four hours to assemble this bed. Granted, we had to partially dis-assemble and re-assemble it a few times, but we're not beginners and so I'm just saying, leaving yourself some time and have your serenity exercises handy. The boxes arrived in good condition, all the pieces were present when we finally opened them, and there are even some purposeful extras in case you lose or break something (we did neither, so these have been set aside with the "instructions" and original fastener card for the future). The description says "all tools included", which is, technically, true. The Phillips head is at the long end of an Allen wrench, so it's not easy to use, but it is in the box with the other three thousand pieces, parts, and fasteners. You will do yourself a giant favor if you have a cordless drill with a variety of drivers, including a Phillips head and several Allen wrench attachments, if they're available to you. The instructions are photographs. There are very few words, and most of the words are not helpful in terms of planning ahead, understanding the part of the unit you're assembling, or understanding how what you're doing now might impact you a few steps later. "Reading ahead" isn't super helpful, either, by the way. We did try that. You will also benefit from having a dozen or so cups or bowls for the various types of fasteners that this thing comes with...it's a giant card that is vacuum sealed around all of them, which makes keeping them straight, and separated, an adventure all by itself. And, please leave yourself some space to maneuver. You'll start assembling things with them laying down, and will need to stand things up and then lay them back down again a few times. I Highly recommend two adults, minimum, and if you have little ones, send them to Grandmas for assembly. If you've ever watched the video of Ryan Reynolds trying to assemble and Ikea crib, you have an idea of the day you've signed up for. Every board and bracket and fastener was labeled with a little sticker. As I said, we had all the pieces and we, eventually, got them all put together. Please note that not one part has any sort of indication about what is the front or back, top or bottom. Yes, sometimes this is obvious, but take the shelves, for example...they look the same all the way around, at first glance. If you're not super-keen, or psychic, you might miss the tiny pilot hole that's drilled into the "back" for the slats that cover the back of the shelves to get screwed on until you have it all put together, otherwise, and realize that the shelves on one side are in backwards. I drilled new pilot holes in the 'front' that was in the back and attached the slats that way...we were not taking that thing back apart, again. Another note for you: The metal brackets all have various holes for various attachments. Please watch for the holes that have a guide versus those that don't, and once you start assembling the metal part of the frame you'll want to be sure that those guides are the right way, so that "bolt F" has something to screw into. Otherwise, you guessed it, you'll be going back to undo all of those Allen bolts and flipping your brackets around. The drawers are really sliding baskets, and they do have casters to help them roll back and forth, along with a little 'handle' on the inside to hang it, so they look nice. They're not huge, and are big enough to hold a sheet set, a blanket, or a standard size pillow. The braces for the bed are metal bars that get locked into place with some little rubber wedges, and if you're going to use a memory foam mattress, like we got, you should consider some kind of support for it or you'll eventually have a mattress sinking through the slats. We have placed several large pieces of cardboard, from that giant box, under the mattress, which seems to be sufficient to hold my 20-year old, 5'4" daughter. Getting the power station and lights installed/set up was a cake walk compared to every previous step, and the remote worked great - she loves the light options and the app, the lights will sync to her music, etc...all great little details that have helped this thing land with 3 stars and not in a pile of scrap at the base of the stairs. The bed is now assembled, in her second floor room in a 100+ year old historic house. There are small glides on the corner pieces that help move it around on the wood floor fairly easily, and it is definitely sturdy. This whole thing is metal and MDF, so hefty. And I have to say, it looks really nice. From near to the bed it's hard to tell that it's manufactured, the shelves will hold her trinkets and books and electronics, and it's a great space saver. You can, if the floor is not a plush carpet, move the whole thing (aside from the drawers) around with two people and probably not damage the frame or your house. You could also, in my mind, remove the pieces for the actual bed frame from the shelving unit and move them, disassembled, from one room to another. I do not think that we will be able to move this frame from the room it is in, down the narrow, tight-turn historical stairs. I have a hard time imagining having the patience to take the whole thing apart and re-assemble it elsewhere...although we have saved the instructions, extra parts, and the big card that held all of the fasteners, just in case she wants to try that in a year. Or, it might just stay right where it is, forever. ... show more

  • This is a good one!!! This is a good one!!!
Color: Rustic Oak Size: Twin
I cant even count how many beds I looked at before choosingone for my grandson. A lot of them had bad reviews with difficult assembly and poor quality. This one feels really strong and sturdy. My daughter and I were able to put this together in 4 hours. We do not have a lot of experience with assembly but we are relatively intelligent. There were a few steps that made us think twice, but overall the instructions were straight forward and easy to understand. All parts and hardware were well labeled and we had plenty of everything. There was a section of "extra parts" but we did not need them. Grandson is over the moon and sleeping like a baby in his new bed!! ... show more

  • Very nice bed for the price Very nice bed for the price
Color: Black Size: Twin
Really and truly this is such a nice bed for the price. It took my husband several hours to assemble but he said it wasn't terrible if you mentally plan to take the time for it. It all came together beautiful and my 4 year old absolutely loves it. Arrived quickly and in one very long heavy box that was sorta beat up but the items inside were secured nicely in styrofoam so there was no damage to the boards. ... show more

  • Assembly is awful - but bed is sturdy Assembly is awful - but bed is sturdy
Color: Black Size: Twin
It’s awful to put together, but once it’s put together it’s pretty sturdy. It took about six hours to put together. So many pieces. Instructions are awful. Bed is pretty low to the ground just fyi. Love the outlet on top!

  • The ultimate space-saver! Everything you need in one bed!
Color: Rustic Oak Size: Twin
I am absolutely obsessed with this Twin Bed Frame! If you are on the fence about whether to get this bed, this is your sign to go for it. It completely transformed my son's room! This compact, multi-functional bed is an incredible space-saver for smaller bedrooms. The bed comes with complete tools, but assembly will take a bit of time because of all the features. It took myself about 4 hours to put together alone. I highly recommend using a cordless drill with Allen wrench and Phillips head attachments to make the process much faster and easier. ... show more

  • Nice sturdy design. Instructions need help.
Color: Black Size: Twin
For the most part, we really like this bed. The lights are fun and there is lots of storage. The instructions need some work. There are tiny tiny tiny pin holes of a pilot hole that if you miss very early on, you won’t be able to fully secure the board in the back. The instructions call them “perforations” and we couldn’t figure out what that meant when trying to make sure we had all boards facing the right way. So we were unable to use our T screws for the back. Also, some of the little dowl rods would fall out while trying to connect boards together, taking up a lot of time to line things up right A lot of our time was taken up trying to understand what the pictures on the instructions were saying. The baskets on wheels likely won’t see a lot of use. But I didn’t count them when I was considering the value of this bed. It’s sturdy and looks really nice once put together. ... show more
