Took my dad and I more like 2 1/2 days to build. One day was a rainy day so we couldn't finish that day. The right door was frustrating when a part broke but we just attached an L bracket and it works great now. Directions were very confusing in the beginning and frustrating when it came to just figuring out how to set it up with the brackets that go down to be upwards. It leeks little when raining near the windows even after putting that silicone spray they tell you to in the directions but not to bad. Gets little warm so we added a fan and a thermometer so we can tell the temperature to grow our vegetable garden. Its definitely not a one person job. I love it though its cute, and works pretty great for what i am using it for. Oh also added some magnetic screens to the roof windows so bugs wont come in as much. customer service was sorta helpful when i was trying to ask them about if i could replace the part that broke on the door when i was putting that together turns out their warehouse was closed; but they seemed willing to help even though they couldn't sense it was closed for holidays. oh well its up Im happy over all, it looks good for the price we paid over all. Update: added a magnetic screen to the front door to prevent bugs when leaving the doors open and allow more airflow. Might have to install an exhaust fan in the future to the back if you want more airflow so it doesn’t get too hot. So far the hottest it’s been inside is 101 degrees Fahrenheit with a spring day here in California.

The media could not be loaded. This is a sturdy greenhouse if you build it right. It will be stronger if you add about 500 6mm washers under the many nuts and bolt heads (not included). Instructions have you hold it down with expansion bolts into the soil which seems near useless. Better to screw it onto a treated lumber base. Be warned that it's not a full 8x12. Actual exterior dimensions are 134 3/4" by 90 1/2". All measurements are in metric so you'll need math to get feet/inches. Instructions are very, very bad. Unhelpful part labeling, missing steps, drawings that lack important details. With better instructions it would take half as long, and require a quarter the brain power. Maybe the attached video will help. They desperately need a good tech writer who assembles a couple then makes 1/2/3 instructions. Plus some photos for tricky details, labels like "roof 2" instead of L02B. Up/inside/outside labels. When finished, it looks nice, performs well and seems durable.

The end product is fine. The design and material quality seem good. I probably would have given it 4 or 5 STARS if the instructions weren't so frustrating. It took easily twice as long as necessary to build due to ambiguous instructions. Strangely enough the English used in the manual was perfect, just frequently very ambiguous. I work in a technical field, and I have built may "kits" like this. The instructions need a re-write. If you follow them very closely, and read ahead when something seems ambiguous you may shave a couple hours off the build. To be fair, I never contacted the manufacturer about this next part. They may have immediately sent replacement parts. I was in a hurry to just finish the project, so I never contacted them. Many of the pieces arrived slightly damaged, although the shipping boxes showed no obvious damage. I had to gently bend them straight, which was fairly easy as almost every part was aluminum. And about a dozen of the nearly 300 bolts that hold it together where not machined properly, and unusable, so I had to buy replacements ($4). My favorite part was the last step that suggested applying silicone to prevent leakage. Presumably I would do this by building scaffolding around the green house so I could reach the areas indicated by the arrows.

Just finished assembling the Jocisland 8X10 Greenhouse. It was a bit challenging due to poorly written instructions and no video. But using common sense and a little brain power it all worked out well. I did most of the work myself but you definitely need a second person for some parts of the assembly. Product received on time in two boxes and there were no missing parts with a few extra nut and bolts. Parts fit well together but did have a little trouble getting the door squared and working properly. I build a wood base for the greenhouse and used 1/4 inch hex lag screws to attach the base assembly to the wood base. Make absolutely sure your wood base is perfectly level. Also took someone else's suggestion and used about 400 1/4 inch washers for all nuts and bolt connections. A ratchet tool for tightening all nuts and bolt connections works well. Took about 10 hours to make the wood base and took about 30 hours to assemble the greenhouse. Surprised how strudy the greenhouse is when finished. Very happy with the results. A good greenhouse at this price.

This 8X12 greenhouse is the perfect size. I have my spring garden plants in there now. The ventilation is good with 4 roof vents. I was disappointed in that it didn't include at least one automatic roof vent opener. This product is very sturdy and has a lot of clips for tie downs. I had to have the holes in the clips drilled out a bit to accommodate the larger spike I wanted to use. we have had several very windy days, but no problems. It could include plant hanger clips or at least mention that you should insert then before the roof goes on. I'm very pleased with this greenhouse and would recommend it. It would pay for itself just by growing your own plants from seeds.
