    • Awesome, especially for the price
My experience has been great so far with the JLAB Jbuds Air. After buying some knocking off Beats from Amazon for a cheaper price I decided to spend a little more this time. While these were a little less than double the price, they are still very inexpensive in the grand scene of wireless headphones. I did a decent amount of research and decided to buy these and I'm glad I did. Here is my experience so far. - Battery life is expected, a little above three hours(which is not a lot) but I can easily carry the charging case in my pocket either at work or anywhere I go which makes the shorter life fine. On top of that they seem to charge to 100% extremely fast so that's a plus as well. - I've had absolutely no issues with them falling out. I often have problems with headphones fitting into my ears but all 3 bud sizes fit fine for me and they all stay in. On top of that they come with a rubber ear fin which will seal them in even better. When wearing both headphones I find that they might not be noise cancelling but they sure make it hard to hear outside noises, especially voices. - One knock on theses I frequently read about was they will hurt your ears after using for extended periods of time. Not the case for me at all. I have even worn both of them to bed while lying on my side and didn't have issues with pain there either. - The only "con" I would give these are the maximum volume isn't extremely loud. The volume is fine 99% of the time but I spend time at a dog kennel where there is a lot of loud barking and when that is at maximum level I sometimes have a hard time hearing, especially with only one earbud in. I would like to add that I seem to have below average hearing in general so it might be specific to me. Overall if you want solid headphones at a budget price I would highly recommend these. You'll have a hard time finding quality, completely wireless, earbuds at a price this low. ... show more

    • The most stable signal of any earbuds I have ever used.
Stability I have NEVER lost the signal in almost a month -with the phone in my pocket or in the car while I wash it, or with the phone on the table while do some yard work close by -10 feet or so. It is a tremendously stable connection with my Note 9 and no other pair of ear buds or Bluetooth earphones has been as reliable. ( I can't stand to use headphones/earbuds that cut in and out . . .even a little). Sound The sound is good -not spectacular, but solid. Sound (especially base) is a bit better after you get them well-fitted in the ear. There are many different ear-piece options so you WILL find a combination to fit into your ear. Fit and stay in ear I have used them running, hiking, doing yard work and just walking around and they have never come loose. I am spoiled by their good fit! Charging These earbuds charge quickly –every time you put them in their case (magnetic contacts and left/right case spots). They recharge. Also the case has a light bar/dots to show how its charge is as well. - For me with about 1.5 hours a day, they can be used for more than a week without a concern about battery. The case also charges from low to full in a couple of hours -max. - When you take them out of the case and put them in, they tell you the charge level -and that they are connected to each other and your BT source. Control buttons The buttons are a bit stiff -they click like real buttons, but getting them to click while running is an acquired skill. Also the menu for these earbuds, like many others these days is a bit complex -left ear clicks and right ear clicks are different and the number or even duration of presses matters.     • Solid Headphones at a Reasonable Price
I purchased these for my partner and she liked them so much, I bought a pair for myself. I've tried other <$100 wireless bluetooth earbuds, and these JLab JBuds out-performed them. Note: The left-side earbud of first pair crapped-out after about two months, but were replaced immediately and without question by the seller. This review is based on the performance of both the initial pair and my current pair. Comfort: 8/10 I have large-average sized ears, and my partner has small-average sized ears, and the universal fit accommodates both of us. We both tried them with the factory ear cushions, but found them to be more comfortable after swapping them out for the foam cushions, purchased separately. I wear mine 40-60 minutes at a time and have no issues with them. My partner wears them all day at work and finds that she needs to take them out every four hours or so, which is fine as the earbuds need to be recharged about as often. Sound Quality: 9/10 The sound is a bit flat at first until you toggle through the EQ presets, which actually do work. To achieve a fuller sound, I also adjust the EQ settings on the music app in use. Bass frequencies can be buzzy if you have the bass settings turned up too high, but I don't find this surprising for a set of wireless bluetooth earbuds that only cost $50. Noise Cancellation: 9/10 I ride and wear these in the noisy NYC subway everyday. I can wear these while sitting on the train next to someone playing an actual drum, and the sound is adequately muffled. That said, it's necessary utilize the Cush-Fins provided so that you really get a sound-proof seal. Battery Life and Connectivity: 7.5/10 A fully-charged case will charge dead earbuds three times. If you don't have time for a full charge, charging them for a short amount of time goes a long way. Even so, the earbuds only last a bit better than four hours on a single charge, and we'd be happier if they lasted longer. Bluetooth-pairing is fast and responsive. Once I remove them from the case and put them in my ears, it takes about three seconds to pair automatically. Sometimes I experience static in the connection, usually for not more than a couple of seconds, but it happens, so bear that in mind. Phone calls: 6.5/10 This is a problem. Despite trying whatever other people have said to do to fix that the sound only comes out of one earbud, I haven't been able to get both earbuds to work at the same time during phone calls. If I'm in a moderately noisy public area, bluetooth phone calls can be frustrating due to diminished of sound output. This category would get a lower score if not for the fact that noise-cancellation is very good with these. Overall, the JLab JBuds Air Earbuds are a very good value, and the customer service makes them great. At a higher price point, I would expect the performance to be tighter. For $50, I believe I've gotten what I've paid for, and much more. ... show more

    • LOVE These Earbuds!
UPDATE 12/13/2019: I just received a pair of Apple AirPods as a gift for Christmas. I tested them out, and though they sound very clear, they have a pretty flat sound profile, not much bass or mid range. I adjusted the iPhone Music EQ and used the Bass Booster sound profile and it made them much better, but still a bit lacking. I then put in my JLabs pair that I've been using for several months on a daily basis and WOW, there is just NO comparison. The JLabs is WAY better than the AirPods. The bass and mid range full balanced sound of the JLabs sounds incredible next to the AirPods. Considering the AirPods are going for about THREE times the price, $150, as the $50 JLabs, it's astonishing the quality of sound these buds produce at such a low price. I still am a HUGE fan of the JLabs and have recommended them to several friends and they have echoed my high praise for them. I was looking for an affordable pair of earbuds for working out. Took a risk on these as I hadn't heard of the JLab brand before. These fit the bill perfectly. Only $50, great sound for the price. Easy setup, connect immediately to my iPhone. I've been using them for about a month already and am so happy with them. One piece of advice, the correct size ear piece is crucial for good sound quality. I find that using the large size gives me significant improvements in sound, particularly the bass. I also agree other reviews that the JLab Signature Sound profile gives the best overall sound quality. Nice defined vocals and good bass. If I have any gripe, I have to agree with many reviews about the control buttons on the side of each bud. They are a bit awkward to press, it jams the buds further into your ear canal which is a little uncomfortable. Not too bad though. Tolerable for a 45-60 minute workout. I've connected these to my AppleTV at home and watched an episode of Game of Thrones. Awesome!! These really do product some nice base and are very clear and distortion free. You won't be disappointed with these. They are a great pair of ear buds for an amazing price. They have added a ton of fun to my workouts! ... show more

    • good battery life! Fine for podcasts
I got these to replace some skull candy dime in ear buds that advertise 12 hour battery but after a few months only lasted less than an hour. These Jlabs are much better and play for 3-4 hours! They are quite a bit bigger which I assume is the battery. They don't stay in my ear as well, as they are bigger and heavier. The sound quality is fine for podcasts which is mostly low fidelity voices. I don't think they sound great for music. One complaint, if you pause playback for not too long, like to talk to a neighbor, they shut down. Now I'm out without the charging case, which resets them. So I have to hold each one's button a long time to turn them on, then they often say "ready to pair". So I have to hold the buttons a long time to shut down and try again. They usually re-pair on the next try. If they are straight out of their charging case they seem to pair right up no problem. So, I think they auto shutdown too quickly when paused, and lose their pairing at that point. Maybe it matters which one I manually turn back on first, I'll have to pay attention to that. update 12/2024: Using them 3-4 times a week for long (1hr) walks, and several travel days where they were used for hours without issue, both broke in that the push button plastic tore around the periphery. Once that moves, the inside plastic tab no longer lines up with the switch on the circuit board. I could still use them but if I paused them while out on a walk, they shutdown pretty quickly, then I can't turn them back on until I get home and putting them in the charge case resets them. I found the button to be hard to push. I'm going to try a different set that connects around the back of your neck, with actual buttons on the connecting, wire not each bud. I won't get these again and downgraded the rating from 5 to 3 stars. But they worked mostly ok and lasted me nearly a year. And technically still work and play for hours, with no working buttons though. ... show more

Shipping was incredibly fast!!! I ordered them the night before and they came in the next day. First off I have to say, I’m really impressed with the sound quality of these earbuds. They are almost on par with my Apple earbuds (which I like a lot). These will give you a run time of 4hrs and 15 minutes on a full charge (I tested them out). Build quality is really good. They don’t feel like they’re going to come apart or break, on you. (User advisory) if you have small ear holes I can’t say I’d recommend these as they are not that small they will for medium to large sized ears better than smaller ear canals. They will sit in your ear nice and snug, and they do cancel out a lot of the background noise, so If you’re trying to talk to someone, or you’re trying to hear them, you’re going to get a muffled sound, lol. Phone calls work great!! I haven’t had any problem with hearing the people on the other side or them hearing me. This is just a first days review of them. I’ll update this in a week, and give an accurate time of how long the charging case last, and then finally I’ll give a review after how they did after a months use of them. Right now I will say, JUST BUY THEM! Update 12/5/18 Still working! I haven’t had any problems with them. So the charging case will last you about a week! I’m loving these earbuds! lol, my girlfriend loves them too, she said I should have bought them sooner as I clean the house house more often now and wash the dishes without her telling me too, lol. Okay, just found out a new great thing about these earbuds. I’m sure it was in the description, but I must have missed it. I didn’t know that I can use both my phone and my work phone at the same time! So I can basically listen to my music on my iPhone and receive phone calls from my work! Alright that’s enough for now. Although, I do not typically write reviews on products. On a rare occasion, an item or consumer experience significantly alters my life and creates a urge inside me to share with my fellow future shoppers. This product should require a disclaimer upon purchase. Until then, I will serve as your friendly warning and share experience and opinion before you spend your pretty penny😁. Let me say it not in case I lose you later. To be straight forward, dont buy this flaw filled device. Spend $40 or even $100 more on a quality wireless headset from a replicable company. Remember, there is great power with the consumer's dollar. If we accept crap business with continue to sell us crappier crap everyday. Anyways, when I first purchased the ear phones I was impressed with it's performance especially when considering the price range. A few months after my purchase one of the ear buds stopped working. After some research, I confirmed that people across the nation were encountering the similar post - warranty - death of one of their head phones. It seemed quite peculiar that our headphones stopped working right after the in store warranty ended. We were left to troubleshoot the many possibilities of the permanently muted bud. When the resets did fix the problem and our digital magic ran dried most we look to the company to resolve the issue. A customer service agent suggest that I purchase a charger case and reassured me that a new charger is what the doctor ordered. The charger arrived a few days later and didnt fix anything...was bamboozled again. This has been an ongoing issue across the nation and still has not been fixed. Jlabs has yet to address, acknowledge or simply fix the silent bud and shamelessly continues to sell the tainted headphones. They even sell single ear plugs now!!! Instead of fixing their headset and providing us with quality product that we pay for. The business knowingly sells faulty devices to make a quick buck. You have been warned ✌🏼 ... show more

First impressions of this product are positive. I purchased these at $50. I have not purchased other earbuds but consider myself and audiophile and am rather picky, but still think the sound quality and functionality of this product are amazing for the price. Other products might do it better, but not at this price. You can expect to receive an above average build, sound quality, and functionality for this price point, with a couple of small quirks/concerns. Details below. I tested the range of these earbuds by walking about 50 feet away from my phone and they performed the same as if my phone was in my pocket, but I did run into a problem early in its use. The earbuds need to connect to each other, then be connected to your smartphone. I put the earbuds into their case to charge, and when I took them back out, the earbuds disconnected from each other and I had to look online to figure out how to reconnect the earbuds to each other by looking on their website, which was a hassle. If this happens frequently, it could be a big problem for these earbuds. This is my biggest gripe so far. My phone connects with bluetooth 5.0. Older phones that only support older versions of bluetooth might have worse connectivity, so keep that in mind. The earbuds are pretty big compared to wired earbuds, as most wireless earbuds are, but I personally don't feel the difference when wearing them. This is mostly just an aesthetic issue, and I personally don't mind. As with all earbuds, make sure you try all the eartips with and without the included cushfins, an extra padding for the outer edge of the earbud. A good fitting eartip should maximize comfort, sound isolation, and bass level, so make sure you pick the one that works for you. The comfort of these earbuds are average to slightly below average. I would expect some slight discomfort after about 2-3 hours, even with the right eartip and with the cushfins on, which, for me, helped with fit. I would've liked for the case to be flatter. It's rather spherical so it fits awkwardly in my pocket. The material also isn't the greatest but seems sturdy enough to protect the earbuds and stay in one piece. It's really light, maybe the weight of a few quarters. If you're planning to carry this in anything other than a pocket, the size is fine. The USB-A charging cable is under the case and can be tucked into its socket, where it stays firmly in place. It's a very short cable though, and is pretty awkward to charge. I would've preferred a usb port inside the case where you can plug in a longer cable while the case is open, but I'm nitpicking. The buttons are a little hard to press so when you press them you're shoving the earbud into your ear which is a little uncomfortable. Mids are a little muddy, but the overall sound quality is really good for its price. The earbuds make an audible hiss when they're connected and it's silent, but they do stop hissing after about 3-5 seconds of idle. Will update the review if things change. ... show more
