Unlike other reviewers' comments, my earbuds were not charged upon arrival. Therefore, initial setup procedure didn't work as described in Quick Start Guide. The very 1st thing any cordless, battery-powered product instructions should mention is to charge the batteries - or check them (& how to do that). The Quick Start Guide is very poorly written & expects a mid to high level of experience using wireless earbuds. Eventually everything was figured everything out thru trial & error. VERY disappointed in sound quality. Have tried all 3 equalizer settings & not one is adequate. Bass Boost for music & Signature for calls seem to be best options. My $5-8 Samsung corded earbuds have much better sound quality & output volume & put these JBuds to shame. The cordless convenience is nice. The controls are adequate, but you better have a good memory to remember all of the functions. Charging case & overall quality is very good. Would have given a higher rating (4 or 5) but the poor sound quality is a major disappointment. ... show more

I initially bought these earbuds for use in my side job, as a server at a bowling alley- which admittedly is an odd profession. I needed earbuds specifically with a conversation passthrough function, as I needed to hear customers, and still block out the sounds of falling pins. These worked quite well! However, there are some hold-ups. Sound Quality: These sound about as nice as you'd expect. The high end is a bit quiet for my liking, and there's definitely a ton of bass. Not exactly amazing sound for the price, but definitely passable. I've tried switching between the inbuilt EQs, and a word of advice- don't. The default is the best sounding, and still sounds at most okay. Noise Cancellation/Auditory Awareness: This works quite well! The conversations around you are quite clear, and it's pretty good at toning out the background noise. The noise is still there, however. If you're looking for noise cancellation on the cheap, though, these will work. Battery Life/Charging: Oh. Boy. These earbuds last a VERY long time in my experience. The advertised battery life is 6 hours, but I've been able to consistently get around 7. The case also recharges them relatively quickly, but... The charging contacts are finnicky. I sometimes find myself having to reseat the earbuds before they'll start charging, which leads into my next part of the review. My Issues: There are a few issues I've run into, the worst being the left earbuds disconnects. Yes, it is an issue that is noticeable. This will happen to me every week or two, and I have to place both earbuds back into the case then remove them to get the buds to reconnect. It's very irksome, and the main reason for my 3 star review. I also have run into issues with the case's charging cable, which is integrated. It is WAY too short. I actually have an extension that I use to charge these. The only upside to a cable this short is that it reduces bulk in your pocket/bag/etc. I would much rather have a longer cable that I carry along with me. All in all, I would recommend looking elsewhere for earbuds, unless you need these for a niche purpose like mine, and are on a bit of a budget. There are earbuds out there that do everything these do, but better- that is, if you're willing to pay. The Sony WF1000-MX3 come to mind on the top end, and the Echo Buds from Amazon are actually quite a good pick. ... show more

Really loved my old JLabs and still love my sports which can be used independent of one another. However these cannot be used individually you can only use the right ear bud without the left one. The left earbud doesn’t connect without the right one.

This is actually my second pair of these ear buds. The only reason for 2 is the charging case for the first set got flooded in my pocket during a down pour. SURPRISINGLY, the buds themselves survived with NO issues but the case lost the ability to be recharged therefore once it was dead, it could no longer recharge the buds. I have so many praises for this product. The sound quality is wonderful, both during a call or listening to my music. The 3 stage EQ ability is also a winner for me. Even the quality of my voice to a caller is full and clear. BUT...my most favorite feature of all is the "AWARE" feature. This allows for ambient sound to pass through the buds while listening to music or just having the buds in ear between calls. TO EXPLAIN: You can listen to music (if your aren't blasting your ear drums LOL) and still hear someone speak to you, even hold a conversation, without removing the buds. Or already have them in while waiting for a call or just ending one, you can still hear what is going on around you. I find this extremely convenient. While other brands and even newer versions of these boast Additional Noise Canceling (ANC) which these do NOT have. These can let ambient sound in IF DESIRED !! That said, if it is less outside noise that you want, these come with 3 sizes of ear cushions of which one is like "memory foam". This closes off outside noise quite well. In my opinion, all this adds up to a nice quality product that won't "break the bank" ! ... show more

These earbuds feel really nice. They look and feel nice. I enjoy the One pair I have that actually works.. I just want to say not ALL these earbuds are trash. But this was my experience. I've purchased 6 pairs of JLab earbuds. Air Air Icon Executive Executive Executive Executive The first pair used to last 4 hours. Now only last 45 minuts. They're only about 2 years old. The 2nd pair, one fell out of my ear at work, it took off like a bullet and I lost it. (My fault) 3rd pair from Walmart, one earbud wouldn't charge. And I tried all the you tube trouble shooting. 4th pair, worked great for about 3 weeks then the audio in the right one went out. It still turns on and charges and the tap button works. Just no audio. The 5th pair right out of the box wouldnt charge past 40% meaning 5 minutes in, it says low battery. And the 6th pair. Brand new fully charged barely lasts just under 4 hours. Meaning: I get to the job site at 7am theyre dead before noon. I wish they worked properly. And I wish they didnt bribe YouTubers to give them "honest reviews" and send them a quality checked product, and then sell products that aren't inspected to ensure they even work. ... show more
