  • Comfortable and affordable
Just got these to replace a different brand similar style set that I ended up dropping one good time and now one earbud won't sit properly to charge, and instead of fuss with it I gave them to a friend who doesn't mind dealing with them. In all fairness I did own that previous set for roughly 3 years. So I'm hoping to have these last at least the same amount of time. Moving on the the review. So far I absolutely love these. I read the little booklet that came with it explaining how one side controls the volume up and the other controls the volume down, which will take some getting used to while wearing both. However at work I am usually using one side or the other since I need to be able to hear my surroundings. I don't see it being an issue since it's connected to my phone and while listening to music or watching videos with sound I am able to use my phone volume settings (since my other pair didn't have volume control buttons at all, so again no issues or complaints there). I also really like that these aren't as invasive to my ears as other earbuds have been, the silicone/rubbery piece is more wide set and doesn't need to be pressed into the ear to be secured. The sound is great so far. I got the light blue ones and the color is pleasantly soft, I'd say almost like a pastel. The charger kinda threw me a bit, I wasn't expecting it to be attached to the holder but it doesn't affect my life whatsoever since I have a c-type charging block for my double ended c-type charging cable that I use for my phone. The battery life seems decent, I have yet to run them under 70% on my work shifts. I'll definitely update after more time has passed or if I notice any significant changes. I paid a few dollars less for these than my prior ones, I believe these were on sale but regular price is basically the same. Which is super affordable. ... show more

  • Great sound and quality for the price. Great sound and quality for the price.
These are the best ear buds I have used, and I have been lucky to compare them to JBL and a few different Skullcandy models. Each ear piece fits different so depending on your personal preference some brands might be better because they stay in your ear. These are great because they stay in my ear and with the hook I'm not worried about them falling out when using them at work. The sound is great and easily adjustable with a simple tough activated controls. I have the white/cream color for work and the light blue for home use. The app was easy to use and paired with both no problem. Please keep these in stock for the future. I will return for more for sure. ... show more

  • Reliable and a good choice especially if they're on sale
I bought these back on Halloween 2023 and they've only recently *started* to show their age and wear from constant use. They've survived travel, rock climbing, home workouts routines, 40-hour work weeks, and so much more. While they aren't perfect, I'd say they're still a great reliable pair of wireless earbuds. PROS: Sounds good, easy to use, battery life is sufficient, and the comfy snug fit in the ear helps block out the world around you when you're trying to focus. And as an indoor rock climber, the ear loops are comfy and securely stay on my ear even with sudden jolts. CONS: The loops can sometimes push against the inside of the molded seating prevent the contacts between the earpieces and the housing from touching resulting in either a partially charged, a drained battery, or random disconnections with other devices if priority connection isn't set properly (I've had my car Bluetooth disconnect from my phone mid trip because the earbuds got slightly jostled and physically disconnected from the contacts so my phone detected and connected to them.) But like I said, I bought these back in 2023 so hopefully that small design flaw was fixed. There's an app that's okay but totally unnecessary in my opinion. Overall, still a strong choice for the price, especially if they're on sale!! So much so that I already bought a new pair UPDATE: It seems that they have fixed the size difference between the ear loops and the molded seating, now they fit perfectly so I expect them to stay in place far more frequently now ... show more

  • Favorite headphones
These headphones are the only ear buds i buy- and the only reason they needed replaced is because i either lost them or washed them. I am a very active dog groomer so these headphones and the way they are styled stay in my ear nice and snug, and do not get destroyed from sweat, dogs shaking water on me, or hair and dust. There is a be aware mode on these that i just love - i can block out the noise of the loud dryers and barking with just three taps on the right bud. If im in the grooming area where things are quieter, i dont have to take them off, i can just turn the be aware mode back on and i can hear conversations better than i could without the buds. The sound quality is also incredible. Youd think you had high end brands in your ears. So worth the money. RECOMMEND. ... show more

  • Sound quality is good - that's about it Sound quality is good - that's about it
I don't think I would keep these if the sound quality was not good for the type of earphones they are, in addition to their good price point. Although that being said, I had to fiddle with their app's equalizer for it to sound good. "Out of the box" sound quality is terrible. The case itself is not intuitive. The right earphone is on the left side and the left is on the right side. The case comes with a built-in charging cable, which I think is a good idea in theory... However the cable is *way* too short. It can only dangle from the power adapters I charge it with. It is also the only way for it to charge. I wish there were also a C input for charging, it makes it a bit inconvenient. I really wish the case had an indicator for battery remaining, a lot of the times it's a surprise that the case is dead. The earphones theirself have bad controls and are only completely usable when using controls with both. In addition they are not very comfortable and have to be "worn in" like a shoe. Whether it's the earphones or my ears getting used to them, I'm not too sure. Fortunately they do stay in place and I've never had them fall out by accident. I do think the battery life is pretty short too, although they charge quickly in the case. According to phone calls I've made, the microphone quality is fine/good. I generally would not recommend these. I am only keeping them because sound quality is very important to me. ... show more

  • 99% perfect, weird charging apparatus
Perfect! Exactly what I was looking for. Great quality, fits on my ears when running, not too expensive, easy to set up, comfortable. The only downside is, why such a short cable for charging? Why a cable at all? Why not plug in to a USB c, instead of requiring a usbc power box, which is kind of rare? Bad choice there. ... show more

  • So far I love
So far so good. They seem very comfy but i only wore them for 20 mins I havent used them at the gym yet. I will say PLEASE download the jlab app! You can fix the EQ and i personally like the 3rd one which is bass it sounds soo good! I noticed that if I touched it to adjust it or push it into my ear it would pause the music, again go into that app and there is an option to change it from one touch to none so you can adjust without worrying about skipping or pausing. I dont know how these sound on a call I havent tried my sole purpose is to use these for the gym and I dont take calls when im working out unless its an emergency so I personally do not care how they sound on a call. These are great for the price! Also tip!!! Check the bottom of the box fully open it and read it will say "extra cushion ear piece" or something like that. i almost threw away the extra ear pieces because I was not paying attention. There are different sizes in case you want to change the ear piece. ... show more

  • The right seems prone to failure, otherwise decent buy
Update 11/26/25: The battery life has started to become much shorter, sometimes they'll randomly disconnect and have to be placed back in the case to reset before connecting again, and the right ear bendy hook finally slipped loose out of the hard plastic of the earbud. For 2.5 years of nearly daily use, through frequent long sessions watching shows or listening to music while doing chores, in hot humidity and sweat, these have served me *very* well. I can't believe it's been less than three years since I got these; they really became a seamless part of my life to the extent I can't really remember life before them. I'm still bummed about the nonrepairable nature of the rechargeable batteries, but honestly I'm debating getting a second pair to replace the first. They charge with the case open, they don't need an app to control anything, and they work for my non-audiophile needs. Really hard to beat the performance at under $30, I recommend them for anyone trying wireless buds for the first time. I love you, JBL Go Air Sport earbuds. You made a believer out of me. Update 12/24/23: So I've figured out that yes, the bending of the ear hooks with use is what's causing the lack of a charge. My inelegant solution is to leave the case open when charging the earbuds, which isn't ideal and means that if I close it for travel, I need to mentally be aware that the charge is decreasing while the earbuds are in the case because chances are good they've been knocked off the charger receptors. So they still work, thankfully, but it's kind of a built-in problem that the earhooks deform over time and cause the buds to be knocked clear of the charger ports once the case is closed. October 24, 2023: I bought these in May and have used them almost daily since. They're fantastic little earbuds - earbuds tend to fall right out of my ears because of the non-standard shape of my ear canal (per my ENT), so it's crucial for me to have the hooks. They're comfortable, sound pretty good as far as I can tell, and are easy to set up and use. The major downside, if you search the reviews and questions, is that the right ear's unit is prone to failing. Either it stops working, or stops charging, or *something*. It's lasted me about six months of use before the right ear just stopped holding a charge or stopped charging. I've tried many things - resetting the earphones, cleaning obsessively the charging contacts in the case and on the earbuds, even keeping the case open when charging so as to not move the charging earbuds (with use, the shape of the hooks has warped and so it's possible that closing the lid shifts them off the charging contacts). To no avail, alas - I consistently put these on and find that while sound comes out the left ear's unit just find, the right is dead. 30 dollars for six months' worth of daily use isn't terrible, but it's terrible for the environment given the non-removable rechargeable batteries in both the case and earbuds. I was thinking of picking up a second pair to use with a different bluetooth device so I wouldn't need to unpair and repair them each time I wanted to move from my phone to computer, but I'm rethinking that second purchase in light of the fact that these seem obscenely disposable for rechargeable electronics. I don't even want to replace these with a new unit - I'm thinking of buying the next tier up to see if that fares any better. ... show more
