  • Decent..
Color: Pink
I get now what some of the other reviewers are saying. For $50+ with tax.. these just do not seem worth it. **Update** Have had these for about a year and updating the review based on use during that time. Pros: Bluetooth Wireless (prefer USB 2.4GHz wireless) - don't think its the headset, but more the nature of Bluetooth, but it bugs out once in a while. Retractable boom mic Design/Comfort - still fit well and comfortable Battery life has held up and we still get a couple days of regular use before needing a recharge Cons: • Cheap materials, I question the longevity of these in the hands of kids **no issues with durability, they have held up extremely well** • Not able to use stereo sound for zoom, only works with hands free AG audio that is lower quality • Only able to charge with the provided usb cable **non issue, found some cables that work to charge** • Bought the pink ones, comes with BLUE cables.. • No auto off feature.. this would be HUGE to have. Kids are not going to remember to turn these off. Looking for a wireless headset in the future, I would pass on these at the $50 price tag. Good buy though if found for a bit less. ... show more

  • Expected more quality for $50, and they only charge with the included cable.
Color: Blue
I bought two of these for remote schooling the kids during the pandemic. First the good... Ease of use and battery life. The headphones have a simple, single-button on/off/pairing function accompanied by a small but very bright LED whose color and state will tell you which mode you're on. The headphones are fairly easy to pair, and through 2 weeks of use have yet to lose device pairing and have to be deleted/re-paired like some other bluetooth devices I've used. For reference, we are using one with an iPad and the other with a Chromebook. The boom mic is bendy for positioning and slides back into the right cup when it's not needed. There is a big, mechanical mute all button on the right cup, which is both nice to have and easy to use. The headphones are closed back which provides for some background noise isolation. The battery lasts the entire school day. In fact, the battery lasted almost 3 school days, which brings me to my first and biggest gripe.... When these arrived I charged them with the included cables, which are short, seem to be of cheap construction and are an annoying blue color that matches nothing in our "charging area" we've established in our home. I ordered some high end micro-usb cables to replace them. For two days I plugged the headphones into the new cables not realizing they weren't charging. Only when they finally ran out of battery, in the middle of the third school day, did I figure out that that these headphones will only charge with the included blue cables. Meanwhile, I tried my high end cables with a number of other devices, like my Bose bluetooth speakers, and they worked fine. This is very frustrating since my kids are hard on cables and I have no idea where to get more of these. For now, I am jealously guarding them in my home office to keep them safe from the kids and just remembering to charge their headphones for them each night. At least with the long battery life, I don't have to panic if I forget to charge them one night. Additional gripes... The build quality seems a little on the cheap side for $50. They do indeed have sound limiting, which is nice for protecting little ear drums, but they seem overly aggressive on this feature as with the volume cranked (both the device and the headphones) I can barely hear them. To be fair, I'm holding them up to my ear since they don't fit on my head, and my kids haven't complained about this while wearing them. The cups could be a little more comfortable, but I'm sure these weren't designed for wearing them all day long. Finally, because of the wire frames connecting the cups to the headband, longer hair gets caught in these headphones over the course of the day. Overall, they seem to be getting the job done. We just started week 3 of the new school year, and the kids both seem fine to use them. Their biggest complaints have been related to all-day comfort and the hair tangling. The older one (Chromebook) did say that classmates complained the mic quality was not so good, but the younger one (iPad) has had no such issue. ... show more

  • Amazing battery life and excellent sound quality! It'll not disappoint.
Color: Blue
I purchased for my son to use during hybrid learning due to covid-19. The purpose was to make it easier for him to be heard during zoom calls but also easier for him to mute himself without having to click his iPad screen - unfortunately the mute doesn't seem to work in the case of zoom, not sure if it's a limitation of the iPad, zoom or both because it works with Duo on android. The ability to hide (retract) the boom was a main selling feature as well. Nevertheless it has been a improvement of the many others we've collected - the battery life is unlike any other device I've seen - incredible! At the time of this review I hadn't spent any time trying to figure out the mute feature and zoom/iPad buy, I will and update this review. Important to note that connecting to BT devices is easy and quick; iPad, Amazon fire, Nintendo Switch and Samsung Note 8. I would definitely buy again and wish I'd bought from the start. ***8/20/21 - today we had our first issue after 11 months of near daily use; the power button no longer works. I sent an email to support so we'll see how the repair/replace is handled. I'm hopeful given the price and the 2 year warranty they get us a working pair - my now 8 year old loves them and with school recently starting he'll need them. I'll update the status moving forward. ... show more

  • Easy to use for a kindergarten student
Color: Blue
We bought this for this upcoming school year. In the test runs we have done so far, the sound quality is fine and the decibel levels are good for a 5 year old. It blocks out some noise around the user, but not block everything. These will be good to use at home, but need to check in a noisy environment to provide better feedback on external factors. ... show more

  • Broke after less than 1 year
Color: Black
Bought for my son’s school, which requires use of the headphone jack. After exactly 1 year of just school use, they were sent home as broken. Tried a new cord but still doesn’t work. However, the wireless feature on the headphones does still work as that is battery-operated. So, these will become the at-home wireless pair. I just purchased another pair of these to send back as I was tired of searching for a different brand reliable pair. Let’s hope these last more than a year as they otherwise are great. **UPDATE: the replacement pair I bought also lasted less than 1 year, like clockwork now, as they literally just broke. Unfortunately I had to buy yet another pair as it is still school time. This 3rd pair is the final straw. I’ll be looking for a different brand now as these aren’t cheap to replace. ... show more
