I have gotten several compliments on this item do to its look and functionality. I can have my son in a thin footed onesie and he will stay warm in our Tx winter (40s and 50s) on our walks or to/from the car in the 20s/30s. I would assume winter up north you’d need fleece onesie and additional cover to go over top. It is very convenient that you can unzip the sides while you’re inside to prevent overheating. It’s a nice cover, the only thing I didn’t like was that it falls too much and lays right on baby, I was expecting it to be a little tighter so there wasn’t so much give. I found it irritating in the car because the way the mirror was positioned I couldn’t see his face if the cover was zipped. So I had to unzip the side a little and fold it over. Not the end of the world but could be a little better. Aside from that, the quality is good, washes great, and the zippers work smoothly. It fits on the graco infant car seat.
