So I use this for several things. It work well for the car seat, the bassinet stroller, and her little chair that I have set up on the back porch. The material is nice, its thick, it’s warm, it’s cute, it’s stretchy to fit on several things. The only thing that drives me nutts is that the little flap is removable. Meaning, everytime my husband takes our daughter out of the car seat or wherever he FULLY unzips the whole thing and separates the flap from the part that wraps around the seat instead of just unzipping it to about an inch before. I have gotten several compliments on this item do to its look and functionality. I can have my son in a thin footed onesie and he will stay warm in our Tx winter (40s and 50s) on our walks or to/from the car in the 20s/30s. I would assume winter up north you’d need fleece onesie and additional cover to go over top. It is very convenient that you can unzip the sides while you’re inside to prevent overheating. I am so glad we bought this for the midwest winter! I felt much more at ease anytime we had to go out in the cold, and I wasn't worried about a blanket falling off or not being heavy enough (or being TOO heavy). It kept her warm while outside, and we could pull it down for the car rides. It zips on and off super easy so on cold mornings you can have the blanket cover part on, but easily unzip and take it off for warm spring afternoons! Bought this item for my newborn in Dec. 2023 and it is still being used for my almost 1 year old. It fit the seat perfect and was easy to operate. I machine washed it and air dried to prevent any harm to the material on the inside that keeps my baby warm.
