Now this doll is for my 5 year old daughter and I predict when she gets to her hair there will be some significant shedding. Hopefully I can control it some. I’m in too deep but I’ve loved dolls since I was a young child. I now have a large collection of Barbie dolls. This doll is an exact replica of one that I had as a child. Her hair was matted when she arrived so I read reviews on how to tame the hair. I also wasn’t crazy about the outfit she arrived in so I purchased a preemie outfit from Amazon. I’m a boy mom and so I think having this little girl doll brought a piece of my childhood back and I was able to “doll” her up a bit with jewelry. She doesn’t do anything but sit and stare but shes a nice addition to our home. And again, she makes me remember my childhood in the best way. The doll is Falling apart and this is a replacement doll because the other doll hair came out. I went to change the doll outfit and the leg came off as I was taking off the clothes it came in.
