Quality feeling product easy to assemble but completely ruined by a horrible design that leaves sharp screws to dig into your wall/door. The three screws/bolts that hold the rim on are longer than the padding is thick. So the screws hit the door wall and the padding is pointless... how could they overlook this. Shot a couple times before we realized due to the noise that the screws were digging up the wall. I just flipped them around opposite of the instructions so the sharp ends are towards the front which leaves the nice low profile side towards the door. Works but it doesnt look as nice and obviously not ideal to have the sharper edges facing out. ... show more

Over The Door Hanging Install : The set's great bang for the buck, but the rim is entirely to springy for almost every shot except a perfect swish or dunk, they tend to bounce , rattle out of the rim. The fix is to secure the bottom of the backboard to mounting surface with velcro strips & insert a square piece of foam cut to size behind the rim base(not adhered, the pressure of the install will hold it in place) I used pipe insulation cut to fit. Then 2 small foam strips looped over the rim spring & pushed in tightly w/a blunt object. The unit is now much more shot friendly w/ realistic rim reaction ! See attached pics : ... show more

We got this for our children's shared room for Christmas. It has brought a lot of laughs and entertainment to the kids (6 and 10) and their friends of both genders. As a parent I like that it has foam backing so even if the kids slam their door shut (let's be honest it happens) the hoop doesn't slam or bounce around on the door and if it does it's awfully quiet and has yet to damage their door. The balls that are included seem to be of decent material, not as hard as standard basketballs which is good for the surrounding area and they hold air well. After the initial inflating the balls have stayed full over the last 3 months of use. Great price for siblings getting along. ... show more

This hoop is about twice the size as a normal nerf hoop. My brother and I had a nerf hoop set up when we were kids and had some pretty intense 1 on 1 matches. I only WISH we had a hoop like this back in the day! The funny thing is that we have this set up on a closet door in the living room, just like my brother and I did as kids. Multiple times a day I notice people pick up a ball and start shooting around. It brings back good memories and hoopin it up is better than sitting in front of a tv 😊 This mom approves! ... show more

I got this for my almost two year old son because he's so active and loves to throw balls around. The day I received it and putting it together, he was so excited. It was very easy to put together. The package comes with a pump and two balls, along with the hardware. I hung it on the back of a chair so that he could actually reach the rim and he loves coming up to it and going in for a slam dunk lol. Sometimes he hangs on the rim too long but that's ok because the rim is actually meant for that since it is spring loaded. It is quality made and I'm guilty of actually using it myself.
