"Realistic" is an understatement. This doll is a very accurate representation of the creepiness of a newborn. I found it so initially creepy I thought about not giving it to my kid and instead finding a more idealized cartoon-like baby doll. I'm glad I stuck with it though as she loves this doll. The inclusion of a birth certificate is a nice touch. My oldest helped her fill it out and it was a very sweet moment where they named the doll. The included clothes and accessories are a good start, though I've ordered more outfits and a stroller to go with it. The magnet in the pacifier is particularly smart. Pro-tip: If your kid does not like taking baths tell them the baby needs a bath and you two can bathe the doll together. The vinyl has held up well to soapy bubbly water and the seams are so tight that the doll barely got any water in it.

This newborn doll is cute enough, and for a very young child who hasn't developed an eye for detail yet, she is fine. I've had a few of the higher quality dolls from Amazon but they cost more, and I think for a young child just learning how to care for a toy, possession, or even being shown to be gentle with a real baby, this one is fine. The clothing isn't made from the best of fabrics, but again, for a little one trying to learn how to dress a baby or his/her first doll, this easy snap garment is great for practice. I think the painted-on hair looks enough like the sparse, wispy hair of a newborn and I think that's preferable to the rooted hair of other dolls because it is easier to care for. I took a close up of the doll's fingernails to show the detail which I think it great on the hands and feet. The body is a bit off in that the shoulders are small, the butt is too large, and its soft cloth which is harder to keep clean in a child's toy. It comes with a diaper, bottle, magnet pacifier, and birth certificate like most or all of the other brands of newborn dolls.

This doll is full vinyl and measures 18 inches, as stated in the listing. Because she's full hollow vinyl, she can also be played with in the bath or pool. Her coloring is very pretty, with shiny pink lips and tiny capillaries and veins throughout her skin. Her eyelashes are rooted, not glued, and they did a good job. The nails could be tidier because some of the white tips are outside the nailbeds. Her head seems a bit loose, but not like it will come off or be a problem. There's a small gap that shows. Her outfit is cute and nicely sewn, with velcro in back for easier dressing. She comes with her bottle, magnetic pacifier, and birth certificate card. She does have a bonier skull than most dolls, but some babies are like that. I recommend her for kids and adult doll enthusiasts. *****I ordered both of the dolls in this listing, the pink and the purple, and the quality is consistent. The above review information applies to both dolls. They have the same bodies (which are anatomically correct in an appropriately modest way), but their faces are a little different. The pink doll has a wider mouth and can probably fit a regular pacifier inside, but she comes with the magnetic one that looks cute on her. Both dolls are of the same high quality vinyl, with heads/limbs that move smoothly with no stiffness. Both outfits match the colors in the photos. And they both have bony, yet realistic, skulls, as you can see in the listing.

It is kind of average newborn instead reborn. The doll came with a cute suit and accesories. Although I do like the stomach being realistic and the baby in general being colored realistically it is a good baby to get for your first time baby doll. I do not think it’s worth the price.

This is an amazing doll. The face is a bit odd without the pacifier but the detail in the hands and face are very lifelike. Comes with a package that contains pacifier bottle diaper and other essentials for baby care.

This is a sweet little doll. She has a good weight and nice realistic coloring as others have mentioned. I do wish the body was filled since her feet are quite squishy but that is nit picky. When I first pulled her hat off, I was quite shocked by the distorted shape of her head. She really does look like a freshly born babe that was delivered. I think it is good for young kids to see and know that it is normal for me babies to have misshapened heads. She fits in my arms just like a new baby would. I did not think her pacifier would fit when I first tried it, but then realized it was magnetic. It stays attached pretty well even when she is flipped around. I was a little bummed to see that it didn't come with a little stuffed animal like it shows in the picture, but I think the girls I babysit will love her.
