I had an issue with the adapter ring for my camera but the manufacturer replaced the adapter promptly and courteously. Works great. I need practice and experience in all the manual settings, but once I get me dialed in I think it will be great. There is no auto focus on this lens. Auto focus got one star because not applicable was not an option. Four stars because of the delayed start waiting for a replacement part. Overall I am very pleased. Every product in the world has an occasional failure. This company is prompt, courteous, makes a good product, and makes it right if there is a problem.

The lens did not come with the ring adapter in order to connect it to the camera itself rendering it completely useless. Had to ship it back without even using it because it said specifically and showed a picture of the adapter ring supposed to come with the lense but it does not. Do not waste your money.

I need some more practice but I'm impressed with the early results. This is not a zoom lens and works nothing like a zoom lens. It's a telescope you can attach to your camera. Only things you focus on will be in focus.

First of all the camera does not recognize the lens. You have to put it on manual. No other functions will be usable with this lens. So far I have been unable to take a picture. It’s just black. Very minimal instructions comes with it. After review above, the company reached out to help me get the lens to work. I have only used auto and need to learn aperture and iso settings needed to get great pictures. I now get pictures instead of black. If you want a manual lens this one is fine. Just knowing upfront that it won’t be usable as an auto lens makes a difference.

I normally fail at manual lens but I decided to watch a video on this particular model and it helped a lot. My camera is a Canon T7. I kept the appetite at f8, ISO on auto, shutter speed at 500, and zoomed manually. It’s a big lens and these pics were taken with me holding the camera. It doesn’t have image stabilizer so I’m pretty impressed at how they turned out. The red leaves were blowing hard in the one picture so I put the camera in sports mode and it actually took a decent picture from afar. The bad reviews I had read were mostly from people who didn’t know how to set their camera so I hope the settings I have listed help.
