We purchased 3 of these cabinets for our new house June 2023. My husband is VERY handy and fully capable of most house-related repairs etc. He *HATED* these instructions to put these together. He said he was very tempted to send all 3 back as he tried to get the first one together. He luckily managed to just work his way through the parts on the first one and got it built by figuring it out himself. He could then put the remaining two together from memory. He started at 7am and wasn't done with all 3 until 2pm. He had to take breaks to cuss the cabinets out several times. The last box was an obvious return and one portion of the metal was bent. (Assumed that's why it was returned by someone else.) He refused to send it back because of the effort he'd put in so far that day. He managed to unbend that section and make it work. If that had been the first box we opened, he would have sent all 3 back to the vendor. Now that all 3 are put together and in the garage, they are beautiful, sturdy, and exactly what we wanted. If you chose to order these, just know that the headache to put these together may not be worth it to you. ... show more

Very heavy cabinet and I recommend two person assembly. The assembly was pretty simple in my opinion. The cabinet is very study and hold all my camera equipment with extra storage. I highly recommend this product.

I got this mainly for the locking door feature. It’s roomy and the shelves are adjustable, so it works well for what I need. However, the packing wasn’t effective enough to prevent it arriving bent in places, but since the metal is thin I was able to hammer it into place. I don’t have a lot of faith in kits for this kind of item so I was very pleasantly surprised at how well made this is. Formed parts fit together well and the finished product is very sturdy. Even the packaging has a formed metal cap on both ends to protect the parts from damage.

It’s hard to find a cabinet that is medium size and over 12 inches deep, I looked every where in my city and found nothing that was that I needed to fit a space in my workshop. I came across this cabinet and pulled the trigger immediately after seeing the measurements.     • Not worth $219 ($150 maybe) screws strip easily and bottom shelf has no support on front edge
Packaging is really great ( Amazon managed to damage the box anyway and even though I was waiting all day for them to ring the buzzer, they just dropped it in the lobby and left, so they didn't have to bring it up in the elevator) Assembly is pretty easy but, the instructions list steps for features that don't exist. The screws provided for assembly strip easily. I have three screws that are really doing the job they were meant to do. The bottom shelf, which is supposed to handle 50lbs more weight than the other shelves, is completely unsupported along the front edge making it useless for anything of any weight. It will just bend if you put anything heavy on it. Now I must disassemble it and try to repackage it so it can be picked up tomorrow. *Update* decided to keep it because spending another 1+ hours to disassemble and repack is something I don't want to deal with. ... show more
