The design and the size of the rug were perfect for my master bathroom. I was surprised how thin it is. (Even though it clearly says "thin" in the description.) There is no cushion at all. That said, I will going back to look for some additional rugs that I need for doorways that need a thin rug. There were also creases in the rug from being folded up but that is a minor temporary nuisance. I have not washed it yet so I can't speak to that. I would recommend this product. I love washable rugs, and this one is no exception. It's soft, with gorgeous, soft colors. It doesn't slide around and it hides small messes, like crumbs. I can pick it up, take it outside, shake it out, and it looks great again. I can spot clean it in-between washings, if necessary. Attractive, as described, didn't slip. I put it in a location where it would not be walked on until the creases came out, and then it would be moved to the hallway. However, after several days on the floor, the creases would not come out. They were very sharp creases. In the Q&A, one solution given was to iron the back of the rug. What? The back of the rug is non-slip rubbery like material!!! That would have ruined the rug and the iron. Another solution was to steam iron it on the top. I was afraid either "solution" would end up ruining the rug and a return would be denied, so I returned it for a refund. I couldn't find but a very few reviews that mentioned this so it might not happen often. ... show more
