I needed something for under my office chair that would fit the western aesthetics of my home. I love a good real cowhide but they trap dirt and dust and eventually the edges curl. I came across this and saw the price - on sale for under $50 - I thought it was worth a try so ordered 2. After ordering I looked at the reviews and thought I’d made a mistake. I always look at bad reviews first. Horrible smell. Looked fake. Wrinkled. The list went on so I was skeptical of what I would receive. Today I received 1 rug, the other is on back order, and I am beyond pleased. It looks so real and there is no odor whatsoever. It looks fabulous and other than touching it, very hard to tell it’s faux. Definitely give it a try if you’re looking for a cowhide rug without the price.

I love this rug! It’s very soft and thin so it can easily be vacuumed on the “hardwood floor” setting. It’s in my office so it doesn’t get a lot of walk wear but my dog loves to sleep on it. The 3 dimensional print is very realistic and I’ve gotten several compliments. If you’re looking for an inexpensive but realistic looking rug this one was certainly worth a few dollars more. It was packaged well and arrived with no creases or blemish. Just be sure to measure twice as there’s nothing worse than a rug too small for the space and the unusual shape of this one almost threw me off.

Wow! I ordered this a few weeks ago and have been anxiously expecting it. It finally arrived this morning and I was so excited. I unrolled it and set it on the floor and our dog immediately fell in love with it. It’s a bit thinner than I expected, but it is perfect and lays on the floor perfectly right out of the package. No wrinkles, no folds and it matches our decor perfectly. I cannot recommend this more highly.

It’s such a statement piece!! It came tightly rolled up and took no time to flatten out. Its a perfect size, not sure why I was expecting something fluffy or furry (its not) but I still love it. Its thick and sturdy, I think it will withstand time. Great quality.

I bought the zebra design 5x6 to layer on top of an oriental rug. It added just the eclectic feel I was looking for! The quality is great, the coloring looks real and it lays flat on top of the other rug. I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars because it has two obvious white spots but they don’t take away from the overall effect.

I've had this rug for nearly 4 years. It looks beautiful and it stays right where I put it, it never scoots around on the floor! I have always vacuumed it with the beater bar operating on my vacuum cleaner - never a problem. I have been spot cleaning it with full strength non-sudsing ammonia and it came out great every time. The rug is located in a heavy traffic area and I finally had to bite the bullet and see if it would get through the washing machine. I put it through two wash cycles in a commercial machine and it came out beautifully! It's hanging in the sun drying right now as I write this. I was prepared to buy another one just like it but doesn't look like I will have to do that today! Couldn't be happier!

I'm not quite sure what I expected, especially for the price, but it isn't quite what I thought it'd be. Cons: - VERY thin (to the point I'm concerned about durability) - Glued-together layers, with no stitching I can see (again, durability) - Details (like the mane) are printed on - I thought the mane was actual fibers from the pictures! Pros: - Very thin, if you're putting it near a door or under furniture - The print is surprisingly crisp and detailed - Great color - a lot of zebra prints are just black, white, and grey without the creams and browns that make it look real. This has all of the natural colors. So... for the price, it's probably still a deal, but I wanted to give fair warning to folks (like me) who expected more texture, fibers (especially in the mane), and realism. From a distance, it's great, but up close, it's obviously just a good print on a thin rug backing.

I have to say, I am pleasantly surprised. It’s really nice. Soft to the touch. Looks great. And no cows were harmed in the making of it….i imagine. I had to check a few times when I got it that it was fake hide.
