When we got to the ottoman piece, THE INSTRUCTIONS WERE LOCATED UNDER THE FLAPS OF THE CUSHION, completely invisible!! We received this today, actually 4 days earlier than the promised delivery time. The box was upside down and the tape across the bottom seam was cut or torn almost all the way across, and the box was somewhat banged up. In spite of that, the contents appeared undisturbed. After unpacking and spending quite a bit of time removing paper and tape wrapping around the metal frame pieces, we searched in vain for instructions, finally gave up and assembled it based on best guesses. It is mostly pre-assembled, parts and inevitable Allen wrench and screws and washers packed in a divided sealed bubble sheet, only 10 screws. The back and seat cushion have slide on pockets, which led both of us to wonder about long term durability. When we got to the ottoman piece, THE INSTRUCTIONS WERE LOCATED UNDER THE FLAPS OF THE CUSHION, completely invisible!! We discovered that we had only gotten a couple of washer things wrong, but that cost them a star on the review... Otherwise, it is very cushy and comfy, especially the back and armrests, but tighter through the hips than expected. This is not a problem for us, but if you are generously proportioned in that area, be advised. The seat and ottoman height are just right. It appears and feels sturdy and reasonably well made, all in all, good value for the reasonable price. The shipping was very timely and it was packed very well. The only drawback was the instructions (or lack of), but we eventually figured it out. I really like the brown color. It’s very attractive and has a lot of padding and side pockets.

Bought this chair for the "Man Cave". It is great, very comfortable and glides/rotates really smooth. Had a problem with the base and the customer service was great in getting issue rectified. Would recommend this chair to my friends.

I bought two chairs with high expectations. One is perfect but the second is a far different story. From the first day it has squeaked with the slightest movement at a sharp, ear piercing pitch! Rocking is impossible and we all avoid this chair. I followed all suggestions WD 40, graphite, checking for loose screws and nothing has helped. We added a lot of grease and let it sit for almost two weeks with no improvement. Though the chair is comfortable I cannot recommend it. ... show more
