If you never installed a motherboard from scratch and have no prior knowledge on how too then this board is not for you. For if one of your Ram sticks or other components you add on to the motherboard is defective, it is not easily troubleshot. It an excellent Motherboard, well packaged but there is no manual however the on Amazon there are pictures that show you all the ports with labels. It was ideal for me because my previous motherboard which last 10 years had failed due to Ram slots not working properly. Thus, this Motherboard ideal for it allowed me to upgrade my Memory from SSD to NVMe M2 while keeping the rest of my hardware that is working just fine.

My old PC suffered a surge (despite being on an UPS with protection), and blew the mobo. I really had no need to spend a lot in upgrades, so just opted to get another LGA1150 board that could use my existing CPU and RAM. The options are more limited than ever, and most familiar brands want way more for these old things than they're worth. I wasn't familiar with the Shangzhaoyuan brand, but the specs looked good enough for what I needed. It seated nicely into the new case I purchased, but after some adjustment of the supports. There is NO manual for this board in the box, so be sure to download the PDF copy supplied in the link on this page. It's at the bottom of the description. Also THERE IS NO MOUNT FOR THE CPU FAN on the board. Just holes, so I was delayed for a day as I waited for the mount to arrive. Out of the box, the board fired up perfectly. Didn't have to do a thing to the BIOS. Ran a couple of benchmarks, and all is good. Seems to work solidly, and even a bit better than the previous HP board I was running. Definitely impressed!

This LGA1150 socket H97 Shangzhadyuan motherboard was purchased to replace an ancient malfunctioning H97 Gigabyte board. The rest of the (dated) components in my PC, including the older i5 processor and 32 gb DDR3 memory were fine - I could not justify buiding a new PC. This board so far is working very nicely and the build was basically painless. This 6 year old PC was basically rejuvenated. Observations: - remove the cmos battery to reset the bios, and consider replacing the 2032 battery which may be old. - the board and its box arrive with zero information. - the BIOS are American Megatrends, dated 2022. I did not look for any updates. - to enter bios, press the delete key above the arrow keys, not the delete key on the far right. - press F7 for boot options. - good idea to clean all the fans and inside of the case. - recommend to replace the thermal paste under the cooling fan. - Be sure to have the windows product key of the existing PC (if potentially needed) before you begin! - windows 10 had to be re-activated - click troubleshoot if not immediately successful, then hardware change. - this board has an NVME m2 socket for SSD - the old one did not. - all component connections, front USB 3 and 2 work correctly. - also runs Linux (checked with LinuxLiteOS).

The media could not be loaded. Well this product was one of the cheaper choices for motherboards and it came with no instructions or manual but I researched it and was able to make it work no real down sides except no temp controller on mother board so had to set cpu fan speeds in bios or it would run on the highest it could I thought my Cpu fan was gonna take flight….

Working fine for windows but with Linux (tried fedora 35,36, Ubuntu 20.x and Deepin 20.x) and all of them couldn't shut down for some reason I think Linux boot manager/GRUB reboots the system even when I tried shutdown (GUI and CLI), the only way to turn off the system is either way push the power button or unplug the PC. I replaced the first motherboard but even the second one had the same issue
