I originally grabbed this as a temporary fix until I found a bed I "wanted". But honestly, it has done more than served its purpose. I have since fell in love with the minimalistic look of this set. Instead of getting another bed, I'm just going to add a box spring so it sits a tad higher and continue to rock with it! It is quite sturdy, I've had it for about 10 month and it has not had any issues, malfunctions or imperfections. I would highly recommend this bed! It came in a quick timely manner and was an easy build (I did it myself!). Grab it, you won't regret it!

I bought this frame a little over a year ago for my 12 yo son. It was what he wanted. It wasn’t too difficult to put together. I got a memory foam mattress to go on top. A year later and some of the slats are broken, and main pieces of the frame busted. Splinters of wood are all over the floor under the frame. He has not been rough with the bed, and was warned not to be. He barely weighs 100lbs. Now I was not expecting a bed that would last 5-10 years, but certainly longer than a year. This would better used as a guest bed, that doesn’t get slept in often.

Make sure to review product dimensions and take measurements. The headboard displayed in the product photos is twice the height of what you actually get. The same applies to the sides and front of the base. The frame sits very low to the ground so this would be best with a thick mattress. We got a 14inch mattress and the height is still low, but acceptable. It was easy to put together but the entire frame is made of wood, so be conscious of that.

The whole frame is good and nice but the bed is so low to the ground that it looks like for a toddler. Even in a 10 x 10 space looks tiny. Good for the price I guess.
