The taper and length of the nozzle's inlet and outlet determine the pattern and velocity of the abrasive exiting the nozzle. The composition of the liner material determines its resistance to wear. Designed for surface cleaning,rust removal and glass,aluminum alloy and other decorative surface sandblasting,marble engraving. Specifications: Condiiton: 100% Brand New Material: Aluminum + boron carbide Color:Black + Sliver boron carbide Nozzle Internal diameter:8mm Operation: 1.The operator inserts the nozzle washer into a contractor-thread nozzle holder and screws in the nozzle, turning it by hand, until it seats firmly against the washer. 2.With all related equipment correctly assembled and tested, the operator points the nozzle at the surface to be cleaned and presses the remote control handle to begin blasting. 3.The operator holds the nozzle 18 to 36 inches from the surface and moves it smoothly at a rate that produces the desired cleanliness. Each pass should overlap slightly. 4.The operator must replace the nozzle once the orifice wears 1/16-inch beyond its original size. I just bought this, installed it in my blast cabinet and tried it out. Well nothing happened, So I pulled the gun apart and found that the air nozzle had not been through drilled when it was made. I drilled it out to the diameter of the nozzle end to that size. Once I had it drilled and back together it was a great blasting gun. I have had issues with my blasting media not being lifted up to the gun. I found that there were no issues with this unit and it flows significantly more than my previous $110 gun. I was able to reduce the pressure and had more consistent and uniform blasting patterns, no more streaky lines on the parts. This has saved me lots of time standing around waiting for my parts to cleanup. I am running a deep well blast cabinet with 80grit Al oxide and a twin piston 12cfm compressor. I will say this seems to require a good amount of air flor but less pressure. I think it would do a great job with vapor blast cabinets or even spraying masonry coatings or stucco and plaster.It has a plastic housing for the blasting nozzle which would likely be better for wet operations, but also looks like It can hold a wide variety of nozzle sizes. 4 stars because I had to fix it right away, but otherwise its 5 stars for the price. This was a game changer for my modified HF cabinet. It was my last mod to the box and should have been my first. 10x better blasting then the stock gun. I'm having to run two cheap foot pedals in parallel to feed it (one pedal dropped to 25psi with a 100psi head pressure) but that's of ZERO fault to the gun, but of me makeshifting things to work. This nozzle works well for my blasting cabinet (wet blasting). It’s not high quality but it is one of the only options for low-cost builds. It’s a high-CFM consumer, so I have to work in 5-6 second intervals using my 4.7 CFM compressor at 40 psi. The fittings are OK, but the media fitting rotates loosely. I bought this as part of an overall HF cabinet upgrade. The old gun worked pretty well, but was cumbersome, so I got this. Recent review shows same problem. I also have adjustable dry air and vacuum setup. This will just not pull the media up the hose. I can watch it . Getting returned.

Thought I'd get this to upgrade my HF blast cab. It will not draw sufficient media to do the job. Tried air pressures up to 100 psi (have gauge and regulator). Tried adjusting the bleeder on my hopper feed. Connector at media connector on gun was very loose, tightened it with pipe tape, n.g. .Tried different sized nozzles, n.g. . Went back to the HF gun, it works way better. ... show more

Awesome! I recommend this for blasting glass. My air compressor is 4.9scfm@40 and 3.8scfm@90. Sandblasting Glass is great!! I have a foot petal. No idea about blasting metal...

    • Casting is really bad, anything with a thread will leak.

Absolute garbage! This will be returned ASAP. The fittings wobble even when screwed all the way in. I could wrap a whole roll of Teflon tape and it would still be loose. Spend the extra $10 and buy a better one.
