TLDR: Great car, reverse is tricky. For the price versus the sum of the parts, this represents an amazing value. However, the remote has a lot of latency and reverse requires multiple attempts each time to use it. This is a tough little buggy. I took it to the skate park and ran it for a couple hours. I was not gentle. I eventually broke a strut tower, but that was after close to 100 hard impacts on concrete. The metal front and rear bumpers did their job and have a bunch of shiny areas from impacts. The shocks seem nice. They have a very good amount of dampening for the weight of the car. The car is heavy and has a more premium feel than I expected at its price point. The USB charger is okay. It's not remarkable in any sense and there is no USB wall adapter so you'll have to dig through your junk drawer. The batteries feel light for their size, but seem to deliver plenty of power for such a small car. The remote is the worst part of this package. It feels cheap, like an afterthought. It's operation confirms the cheapness of it. There is significant lag when taking off and reverse is difficult to use. Power cycling the remote sometimes resolves the issue for 10-15 seconds. Steering is proportional and the foam rubber surround is really the only thing that's decent about the remote. There is a third channel available on the receiver and there's a trigger for it on the side. The car is very stable for its small size and it handles very well right out of the box. I've not encountered any broken strut towers or stripped screws as mentioned in other reviews. It corners relatively flat and has very good acceleration even with the 2S batteries. I think the 3S batteries might make it a little unruly and hard to control based on how it works with the 2S. Other reviews mention a heavy rear toe-in on the rear wheels. This is common on small RC cars and helps them go straight. Upon inspection of the rear assembly this alignment is intentional. The tires contact the body on full lock and make it sound like a differential is about to explode.

After searching and reading reviews for hours on many different RC cars offered on Amazon. I made the decision to purchase this one and I have zero regrets. It is extremely fast, very easy for my eight year old son to drive and control, very durable thus far and with all of the jumps and loops we’ve driven it through. It still works perfectly. Here it is my list of pros and cons. Pros: Very fast (but not uncontrollable) Battery life is decent (about 15 minutes on 70% power) but it came with two batteries and that’s a huge plus! It came with spare parts, such as extra shocks and front axle. You can control the front trim a.k.a. alignment with the remote, as well as varying the intensity of the throttle. There are many more pros, but those are the main ones. Cons: The wheelie bar that came with it as an additional accessory really helps control the car when taking off very fast, but it is also the least resilient part of the car, and has already broken at the bottom screw, but was also able to be repaired with some super glue. That’s not exactly ideal, and is why it made my cons list. That is honestly the end of my cons list. Whether you are buying it for a younger kid or yourself (if you’re an adult like I am) I highly recommend it.

I use this to entertain my dog. I researched a lot of rc cars and this is one of the fastest for this price range. The quality was excellent and lasted way longer than i could have imagined. My dog is fast and couldn't keep up with it. The remote control was excellent. I have nothing negative to say about this. I would definitely purchase again.

Wheels were loose upon arrival. Tightened those. Front alignment way off with wheels toed out severely. Fixed that Ordered the 11.1 v battery same day the truck arrived so I’m curious how much faster the bigger pack is really going to make it Will report and update this review after I get the bigger battery but for $125 after a $30 discount coupon this thing is pretty fun. We’ll see how long it lasts. I didn’t bother using cheap charger that came with it. Using a tenergy charger instead which is charging the batteries that came with the truck in under 20 minutes. 17 minutes iirc Esc gets screaming hot on this thing. It was actually 185 and cooled down a few degrees by the time I got my laser on it. Electronics and heat don’t mix very well! Edit/update: rear differential blew out after Less then a day using 3s battery pack, this thing had so much power with bigger battery it’s crazy but I just don’t think it’s built to really take that power hence why they sell upgraded diffs to the tune of $30ea x2=$60 , that’s half the price the entire truck cost me in the first place. Add in the other upgraded gear for another $30 and now you’re at $90 for upgraded drive train on this little truck These little trucks are fun and cool but I just don’t think the reliability is there I wound up returning truck and getting a kraton6s instead

Bought for son Christmas 2025. Finally got to use it during camping trip memorial weekend. Didn’t want to use it in the snow. Broke within maybe an hour. Gears grind and wheels barely move. Wasn’t using it hard as he was just learning. Find a different one to buy for the money.

Right out of the box, I drove this 4wd RC car through my backyard and it absolutely negotiated the thick grass and uneven surfaces with speed and style. The 4WD, speed, hefty weight and low profile are perfect for it. The far end of my yard is 70 ft. and the transmitter is still very responsive at that distance. This buggy is a blast to drive at speed and I can't wait to build some ramps and mow a circuit back there. My dogs really like chasing it around too! So much fun potential man. Under the shell, I'm very pleased about the quality of the car components, e.g. the E45A ESC, there's a fan on the brushless motor, double wishbone and oil shocks front and rear, and durable metal parts throughout the drive train. I like the extras included too, clear shell, spare shocks, stickers, etc. I'm getting the 3S battery and the upgrade parts necessary to handle the increased torque. Parts look available at their storefront at the moment but stock looks like its selling fast. The after sales team is excellent, friendly and informative, quick to answer any questions. They make it super easy to enjoy this hobby. This RC car has exceeded my every expectations, looks cool, drives fast, rugged and durable (so far). I feel like I got a lot of value for my money. I am very happy with this purchase.
