When I first saw this horse ages ago I thought it was a very light pink. I bypassed it every chance I got. As a Barbie doll collector and collector of Barbie and Barbie-like accessories, the color pink automatically produces nausea. LOL, ok not really but I am kinda repelled by the amount of pink associated with collecting. So as part of my collection, I buy a lot of glitter girls accessories. They are amazing for 1:6 scale and not so much of it is pink, so I don't have to spend a ton of money on spray paints. I really wanted more horses for my Barbies and I already had three of the four from this collection. I kept looking at the horse and looking at the horse and bypassing it. One day I started reading the reviews. Once I read that the horse was actually not pink I began to take a closer look. Of course, by this time the price had doubled so I bypassed it again. Now I was mad because I could have gotten it for the same price I got the others if I had not waited and read the reviews a long time ago. Needless to say, I got the horse. Cute horse, just like the others in the line. If I wasn't a completionist I probably would not have gotten this but lol here we are. I am really wanting them to create a black one. For $25, this is a sizable and cute horse. That being said, it's far from perfect. There are little nicks here and there, and the finish around the ears was not smooth. But will my 5-year-old care? I think she'll be noticing the pink hair and hooves and having fun with her Glitter Girls doll and stable. I haven't taken the packaging off of the hooves yet, but I know other versions tend to shed the glitter. So preparing myself for that. I wouldn't pay more than $25 for this, but I think it will make a great gift for Christmas morning ... show more
