When in landscape mode the screen can be seen on both sides. UPDATE: went through two protectors in three months. Phone screen never cracked, but these protectors crack easily. I even used them for a month or so with cracks all over until I could’t stand it anymore and hand to change it. While I love the privacy aspect, and the screen of my phone has been protected, the cost of constantly replacing these protectors seems not worth it. This is the first time I’ve owned or purchased a privacy screen protector. The only time I run into any issues is when someone is scanning a coupon on the screen (when shopping and using a mobile coupon) or when trying to take a picture from an angle, I can’t see my own screen. Otherwise I found the screen saver to be wonderful. I have three kids and I don’t always want them to know what I am typing (I particularly don’t want them seeing my passcode being typed in because it’s the same one that I use for parental controls) , and using your phone in public feels much safer when you don’t have to enter a passcode or have someone looking over your shoulder at banking or other personal information. I frequently use Apple Pay and other mobile payment options and I appreciate the privacy when entering in information and doing an in store check out where you have to hold your phone up in public. It’s also nice to be able to look at pictures or Facebook without other people seeing everything you see. The protector was easier to install than most, and was completely bubble free the first time.
